I'm hoping that for it's final mission, Shatner has Gay Sulu pilot the Enterprise to the Persian gulf, bombs the Iranian regime into oblivion, and beats the pulp out of Ahmadinejad in a stylized fist fight...with appropriate musical accompaniment, of course:

Awesome TV.

So...I always had to laugh that Spock was strong enough to break gongs and shatter the awesome Vulcan weapons, but because of his crazed Vulcan lust rage he was unable to quickly dispatch Kirk in hand to hand contact.

He got a fine tan shirt with an emblem on the chest,
the interstellar girls all like him the best.

Captain of the crew and he knows kung fu
and he did Joan Collins in 1932.

Really just an actor and a genius to boot,
he never gets to fire when the enemy shoots.

Ends each show looking neat and clean
after staring down the barrel of the Doomsday Machine.

I really like the one where he reads the Constitution
after ending all the fighting in the future revolution.

William Shatner....

I bet you 100 hundred quatloos that McCoy gives Kirk an injection that helps him fake his death and Spock will be declared the winner.

Say what? "Phasers on stun...We want to capture Red, not kill him."

Star Trek was edgy stuff back then. Perfect for the times, especially during the Space Race.

I learned a lot from watching Star Trek. For example, you never wanted to be the guy on the away team without a name.

Red shirts, Swede. Red shirts. And please, no next gen references here. Let's keep it pure classic trek lore: 'away team?' - blecchh.

The correction is appreciated. I had no idea the no name guys had red shirts. We didn't get a color TV until '74.

Wow, I feel like a luddite - we didn't get one until '79. Still, saw the Trek reruns on the ancestors' color tube. Only Scotty survives the curse of the red shirt.
