Yes ! That's the helmut flying off Michigan RB Vincent Smith's head as he's struck down by S. Carolina DE Jadeveon Clowney.

This fella is being touted as the best college player in your country. A potential Heisman Trophy winner.
the only thing i kept thinking during the game yesterday was "god damn that guys skinny"
256 is pretty tiny for a full time DE in a 3-4 or a 4-3. add in his lanky ass height, and IMO he needs to beef up some before he hits the nfl
if he can get to 280 or so and still keep his athleticism, and with his frame he might be able to, he could be something special

I'd think they'd flip him to OLB.
His size to speed ratio is freakin scary.
That hit was a double snot bubbler.

He LOOKED like he was 230 as a freshman last year and 210 as a senior in high school. Maybe it's the single digit number...
He puts it on... he's a grown ass man and would go number 1 this year if he came out. He'll end up looking like Demarcus Ware never fear.
Love this dude.

I kept wondering if he's related to David Clowney, the WR Ted drafted. Didn't that guy go to South Carolina, too?

Jadeveon Clowney is David's "little brother". David (he of the 4.37 40) went to Va Tech. David is half nuts, but still blurry fast. He's still drawing an NFL paycheck & will do so until he loses that speed.

That was leading with the helmet/helmet to helmet contact against a defenseless RB. In the NFL, that's a 15 yard penalty and Clowney would be fined $75,000. We don't want that crap in the NFL.

I thought defenseless only applied to wide receivers as they were catching the ball. RBs are fair game.

No, they can be considered 'defenseless' as well. Don't ask me when.

If you Google Jadeveon 'alone' you get info. on Jadeveon Clowney.
I'm trying to find some other reference to that first name. That may be difficult.
