Reid is one of his best friends, and is now in KC.
Dorsey's wife practiced law in KC before moving to GB.
Whereas last year Dorsey declined several interviews for GM openings, saying he had no interest in leaving GB, this year he is expected to or already has interviewed for several.

Was he maybe less than enamoured with the realignment of the front office this year?

Yeah, I think he's gonna take his shot.

I also think it's a mistake. Reid won't give him the final say on player matters and that's death for any GM.

TT is undergoing a massive rebuild of his staff, particularly on the top end. We need him to stick around a few more years to get this thing stabilized.

Didn't stop Schneider from becoming Carroll's YES-Man in Starbucks.

He was supposed to interview for the Jets job. And the rumor there is you only need to hang on to Rex for one year.

PC has the final say -- so far it has turned out pretty well.

There was an uproar when the speculation first settled upon Brad Childress.

Would suck to lose this guy. Hope he doesn't go but he'd make me really watch the chiefs more closely because I think he'd be one helluva a GM.
