Nice Ravens blitz. Threatened with two LBs. RB choose to protect left, between T-G and the Ravens then blitzed fifth guy from right. Clean shot on Luck, who is so huge he did not go down but gained two yards.

I didn't realize how big Luck was until he shrugged off Clay. That also puts the hit from Perry in some perspective: it takes a pretty good lick to bring down Luck.

Ravens offense is a mess along the lines of Houston. You fool or scheme or beat the Packer offense, they still put up 21 struggling. You stop option one with Ravens or Texans and they score 13. Should be much better.

But hard to say if its coach or QB.

Same problem teams have with the Broncos offense. They're just going to beat you a few times because they have good players.

a rookie qb playing his first playoff game. 50% passing, 0 td's, 1 int

How much of that has he been doing? That can't be good for him long term. Roethlisberger has done that successfully, but he's in the 8th year of his career and I'm not so sure he's got a lot left. Culpepper took a beating as well, and was only effective for 5 years.

Who drew the late hit penalty on Redskins 2nd td? One guy shoved RG after he released the ball, but not what I would consider enough for a penalty. He was pushed into the path of another Seattle player who knocked him off his feet, but that player wasn't even looking in the direction RG came from. The refs called the penalty on #47, which was neither player! lol

Kind of a mixed bag there. Wash O has evolved more in straight line and is better than their defense by a fair margin. Football Outsiders has Wash O 6th and D 17th.

Seattle's D was much better than its O earlier this year, though its been close to even during Seattle's recent hot streak. Footbal Outsiders measures them each 4th best overall, but the D has been far more consistent.

Red has a fine point. Healthy Cousins might be far better option.

But Troy doesn't believe for a moment that a HC like Shanahan would risk the future of the franchise for short term gain. Despite being told by a respected team doctor, quoted by name, that Shanny has lied to the media about his process.

Seattle is tough as fuck. A few ass holes, sure, but they're a tough team. And Wilson is a friggin star. For his age, it's shocking how accurate he is throwing on the run and throwing those tough, short, improvisational throws with guys in his face. Has very good accuracy down field, and seems really good at not throwing into trouble (had a couple he would have liked to take back I think, but a smart game for any QB, regardless of age and experience)

I can't imagine how good the Packers front office must have been. We're littering the league with NFL GM's and good ones at that. You talk about coaching trees. How about GM trees. That team is going to be scary for a long time.

That said, I hate Pete Carroll like 14th century Europeans hated the bubonic plague. The Minnesota, SF, SEA road will go down as the "suck it" trifecta, to be remembered for years to come.

Hopefully SEA has enough left to take down ATL. I want to see them in Lambeau two weeks from now. They're the best team from the NFC not residing in Wisconsin, but I love our chances at home, pissed off, against that team.

MM coaches good angry. AR plays good angry. Our whole team feeds off - being pissed off. SF and SEA couldn't be a better two teams to play on our road to the SB.

The Minnesota, SF, SEA road will go down as the "suck it" trifecta, to be remembered for years to come.

the man crushing for russel wilson on this site his beyond hillarious. you guy smust beat off to his fat head non stop

"A STAR", "amazingly accurate"

LOL. take away the rookie tag and the fact that he played for the badgers. just look at his stat line

I WANT SEATTLE!! And I am willing to bet the Packers people would LOVE a shot at redemption. Their coach is a classless CLOWN and there would be no better than to shove it down their throats in Lambeau in the NFC Title game. Oh - and break Golden Tate's legs on any random play as well.. GO PACK!!

RGIII = MVP. The entire Redskin team tanked after he was hurt. Night and day. Shanny was stupid keeping him in there, but you can see why he did it; total loss of confidence. Just amazing.

I agree he is not as polished as Luck and is not as dynamic with the arm as Griffin (nor as fast). But he is very good with limited receiving options. He has a TE, a passel of RBs and Rice.

I guess he's so comfortable in the pocket because he's used to seeing something a whole lot scarier than a blitz when he's at home.

Gotta back Red on this one. He didn't win the game with his arm and overthrew most (all?) of his deep throws yesterday by 7 yards. Without Skittles, his game would have been pretty nondescript.

Might be tough to get a revenge game versus the Seahawks the way it looks so far. Seattle's best chance might be to continue to hit Griffin late.

Turned out to be the winning strategy. Well, hitting RGIII, anyway. They didn't go all Saints-Favre on him (but didn't have to bc of his style of play).

That said, does anyone know if Aaron Schatz end up running the regression Thaler requested on the lifetime of running QBs?

Clemons has telltale signs of ACL - looseness in joint and swelling with no pain. Seahawks figure this is the end of his season

we can lend them Walden for the NFCC game

#Seahawks DE Chris Clemons does have a torn ACL & meniscus, I'm told. Appointment with Dr. James Andrews Monday. Swelling not bad at least
