Interesting that Bears are better odds than the Vikings. I wonder if the hiring of Trestman will change the Bears odds. Packers are about where I thought they would be.

The Falcons are underrated.

They will win the SB this year. Bank on it.

Redskins , Saints and Bears are overrated. Viks and Dolphins could be higher. Bucs>Lions

They seem to have the right swagger at the right time this year

San Francisco is a nice city but the 49ers are NOT gonna beat them dirty birds from the lost city of Atlanta. Mike Nolan will avenge his firing and render the Pistol Pete obsolete.

And Ice Ice baby! Matt Ryan will at long last enter the stratosphere of elitism.

For my money the Saints are the best bet

I agree... can't believe they have Green Bay as the 4th favorite. At least the Bronco's have some defensive pieces in place, and are capable of competing on both sides of the ball. The Packers are so one dimensional, and teams have caught up to that one dimension, that I think they have to be considered a long shot for the SB. The Packers will likely remain a playoff team with Rodgers at QB, and the skill position talent we have; but they are so easily pushed around on both sides of the LOS that more 45 pt, 51 pt defensive implosions are likely. Going back to the Chiefs game in 2011 - the Packers were exposed for what they are.

TT started to rebuild the defense a little bit last year, but he has a long way to go... going to lose Jennings, the OL is abysmal - and of course we still have the handicap aka Capers.

Gonna be a long road back - especially considering Capers is going nowhere, and the team is committed to finesse football.

Lions at 40-1?

LOL, the 1 is looking real good. I'm taking all the money I can on that!

Also silly is Steelers and Saints, non-playoff teams this year, at shorter odds than a lot of playoff teams. I can see why though, they've got QBs in place, so you can never tell.

The Giants and Redskins should have shorter odds... assuming RGIII comes back healthy.

The Falcons will never win a Super Bowl with Ryan. Even though Dallas did it with Aikman, that was a different era of football. You have to either be elite (Ryan is good, but not elite) or, at the very least, have a strong arm (Ryan's arm is below average) to win a Super Bowl in today's league.

Ryan had 2 turnovers and this is what really killed them yesterday. The fumbled snap was the most egregious error. They were going down for a score - either 6 or 3 - but the 9ers recovered and scored instead and the Falcons never recovered from that.

Eh... The 49ers missed a 90% FG and also committed a turnover at the 1 foot line. The reason I don't think a team can win with Matt Ryan is that he can't make the sideline throws reliably. His arm isn't strong enough. He's in his prime at 28 and Brady is 35. Yet, Brady puts more zip on his throws to the outside. And Brady is known for a mediocre arm.

The Steelers won with Ben and the Giants with Eli, but both of those guys have plus arms and they can at least stretch the field three-dimensionally. Ryan's more accurate than the other two, but he's easier to scheme against anyway because he can't put the ball on a rope to the sidelines 25 yards downfield.
