Those 101st Airborne guys were incredible. Dropping into Normandy at night in what for most was their first actual combat.

In 2008, a group of the Band Of Brothers visited troops in the Middle East. Some pretty cool pictures http://www.valorstudios.com/Kuwait_visit.htm

Normandy was one the craziest invasions ever. It was old school and I am not talking 20th century old school I am talking Rome vs. Carthage type stuff. Now a days, our media would call it barbaric, and silly waste of life, instead of heroic, bravery, and giving the ultimate sacrifice for your country.

Growing up in the 70's, the WW2 vets were GIANTS in my eyes.

Now in middle-age, these old men, who were but boys at the time of the war are now TITANS.

If you haven't listened to the audio, it's worth the time.
