That's Junior. Clay Mathews Sr. is still around too, 84 years old according to Wikipedia.

Some tape job on the shoes. Musta gone through a whole roll there. I'm confused though. What does this have to do with the Browns sucking?

I don't get your point either. Matthews played a long, long time for the Browns, many times a pro-bowler and All-Pro. How is that a reason for the Browns being bad?

Perhaps he's saying the Browns were stupid not to draft the youngest Clay? They took Alex Mack a few picks in front of Clay, although that wasn't really a bad pick either. The top of that 2009 first round was full of duds, but the bottom 20+ picks were loaded.

ah, 2009. Year of the Aarons. Curry and Maybin. Yup, better players were taken in the last third of the first round, with Mathews, Nicks and Britt.

What ever happened with Larry English? Mathews teammate that went a few picks before him, never hear the name again.
