Ravens agreed to terms with DT Chris Canty, formerly of the Giants.
Canty broke the news on his Twitter account. The former Giant also drew interest from the Packers, Titans and Jaguars. Canty tallied just 26 tackles and three sacks in nine games last season, but should be a solid fit as a five-technique tackle along the Ravens' 3-4 line. He'll help stop the run for a team remaking its linebacker corps.

So they suck for not passing Canty's wobbly knee, or they suck because they were so cautious with Packer players' health, or they suck just because they're easy to blame?

I say all of the above!

No, just a fan who has been paying attention to GB the past few years
Sorry I'm staying neutral to negative on money spending here
This team is built by great drafting, signing own at fair prices, and bottom feeding in FA
I could see us bring back GJ at our price but it would suprise me; Jackson may be a pipe dream

The one exception for FA was when our team was bottoming out for talent and in great need so we got Charles and Ryan.

" Although Canty didn’t post the financials, Albert Breer of NFL Network reports that Canty gets $8 million over three years, with $2.8 million guaranteed. " Fr. LINK

Comment woodbuck27:

I'm guessing that he passed the RAVENS physical. He didn't cost them a whole lot either.
