I'd be happy if Green Bay looked at the following by position:

QB
Tyler Bray, TENN (terrific arm, maturity issues, could MM work some magic?)
Matt Scott, ARIZ.
Collin Klein, KSU (good athlete, good character guy, perhaps MM could work some magic)

RB
Michael Hill, Missouri Western (he was a D2 stud)
Miguel Maysonet

WR
Da'Rick Rogers, TN Tech (he would be a boom/bust guy that Cordarelle Patterson is, but at a much cheaper price...if he has character concerns, cut him, if he pulls it together, he could be something)

TE
Demetrius Harris, Wisconsin-Milwaukee 6-7, 230 (basketball player who tried football...who knows?)

DL
Kwame Geathers, UGA (a mountain of a man, who needs coaching, technique and probably to grow up and figure things out...definitely worth a look)

DE
Lawrence Okoye (what an athlete...would be a big time developmental project, but good tools to work with)

LB
Chase Thomas, Stanford (yes, please)
Kevin Reddick, UNC (yes, please)

S
Tony Jefferson, OK
Rontez Miles, California PA

Perhaps he's not happy that we are "forced" into due-diligence examination of all possible talent. He he's entitled to his opinion, and I disagree with him, but the UDFA are low-percentage players and he doesn't need to address them to keep his opinion of the draft selections.

Because they have specific numbers they want at each position to efficiently run the TC drills.
Camp bodies, nothing more; yet there is always the chance for one to surprise and hang on.

They brought in Stoneburner because he's 6'3" 255#, runs a 4.65 Combine 40 yard dash (4.53 Pro-Day) and can catch.

The downside is he has smallish hands and isn't a strong blocker. He also isn't particularly quick, he's more of a long-speed type.

Was arrested for pissing in an alley and lost his scholarship @ Ohio State.

Stoneburner actually has some talent as a receiving TE. Obviously, he pissed it all away, so to speak. I can't see him actually making the final roster, but he's the kind of guy who may be good enough to push the #2/#3 TEs in camp.

What is it with the Packers and people who can't control their bodily functions?

I hope like hell there's more to the story than 'pissing in an alleyway' to lose a scholarship! If that was all he was doing, that would be pretty harsh no matter HOW drunk he was.

Hopefully they can team him to block, he's more stout than Finley. At 6'3" I think he's on the low end for height?

As Fosco pointed out in the draft thread, pretty interesting that the Pack is going to have 3 guys from Illinois State. I don't think the Redbirds (had to look that up) have had too many players go into the NFL, have they? Palmer was the first guy selected in the draft since '07. There are currently no players from Illinois State in the NFL. I guess when the scouts went to look at Palmer, they saw something they liked in a couple of other players.

Mike Prior, who got an interception in SBXXXI, was a Redbird!

DT Gilbert Pena and TE Jake Stoneburner are the two guys I think have the best shot at making the team.

Without knowing anything at all about the player, I'd say the QB, Matt Brown has a good chance if he plays well, simply because he really only has one guy to climb over, Harrell. I expect there will be other camp arms.
