Good fit. The system there is bigger than Tim Tebow.

Awesome article. I am no Tebow fan, but I was stumped as to why no one wanted to sign him.

I think it is due to his sllloooowwww release. You can get away with that in college, but it can destroy a nfl qb. I always thought that if it wasn't for the circus I would like to see him develop under MM. Belicheat may be able to coach him up to an acceptable back up level.

My favorite part of the article was comparing him to Sanchez, and using that as proof he belongs, talk about faint praise.

FTA

His 2.7 percent turnover rate (15 in 559 touches) is not only good, it’s one of the best in the history of football. CHFF’s Captain Comeback looked at the career turnover rate of every QB in NFL history back in November.

Tebow doesn’t yet qualify for the list (min. 1,500 attempts). But among qualifiers, only Aaron Rodgers was better at protecting the football.

I'm trying to figure out how it got from this:

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nfl--tim-tebow-blackballed-by-nfl-teams-because-of-cult-like-following--media-frenzy-054940389.html#more-id

" And while there's plenty of media chatter that Tebow could land with the Patriots (whose offensive coordinator, Josh McDaniels, was the man behind the Broncos' decision to draft Tebow in the first round), my organizational sources tell me that's very unlikely to happen, with one going so far as to say that Coach Bill Belichick "hates" Tebow as a player. As for the prospect of employing Tebow as a change-of-pace quarterback — and asking Tom Brady to come off the field in those situations — the source says, "No chance. Plus they wouldn't like the circus that comes with it."... " Fr. LINK above

To Tim Tebow signing with the Pat's....and this:

http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2013/6/11/4419210/bill-belichick-tim-tebow-patriots

"Tim is a talented player, is smart and works hard. We'll see how it goes", (Bill) Belichick told reporters on Tuesday, 11 June 2013.

Maybe they will use him on special teams.

Maybe they will move him to Hback. Hback option pass?

Maybe Belichick signed him to cut him so he can make a potion out of his tears.

IMO that is TT preferred position.

If you're a male Tebow fan who's excited that the Pats signed him, do you have a Tebowner?

Great day for radio speculation. Tom Curran thinks this could be nothing more than throwing a bone to Tebow.

Belichick brought him into the Pats offices pre-draft and then went to dinner with him. Curran says Belichick never does this with visiting draft picks.

Another weapon that opponents need to prep for.

This could be so many things it's hard to even guess as to the why's of Hoody Genius

A. They have only two QB's in camp so maybe they just wanted a 3rd and decided to look at TT
B. BB isn't overly fond of the Jets. Maybe he could coach him up and geta draft pick...stick it to the Jets
C. McDaniels drafted TT and spent year one installing plays for him to be used by Denver the following year. Then after he left Denver employed many of them. Perhaps this is try2
D. It's known Hoody Genius is friends with UrbantheAsshole Meyer Genius. Perhaps they communicated and Hoody figured...what the hell...give it a shot
E. He's just a camp body they can showcase and probably cut. If TT actually looks good Hoody Genius could trade Mallet for a nice Pick

BTW...CLASSIC press conference today. Hoody said less than TT in those pressers. Funny

The Patriots released someone to keep themselves at 3 QBs. So it wasn't quite a freebie. However, early word is the contract contains no guaranteed money. If literally true, then he didn't even get a signing bonus.

Could also mean Kafka was a nightmare.

Isn't that the mode of most of Kafka's writings? Surrealist nightmare scenarios that convey a general sense of societal anxiety?

It depends on whether you are reading an early or later Harry Potter novel.
