There used to be a way to handle the odd team league by having one team each week play two opponents. That might be an option.

I always just filled abandoned teams with the players yahoo estimated to have the highest points that week. Same could be done for this, if it happens, since we have 4 nights left to draft teams.

Why are we having such a problem this year? I remember when people were being left out when we had multiple 12 team leagues. Anything I could do to help? I dont mind taking an extra team or finding a few people to take a team that I know would do a good job (they are not on this board though).

Who has to do what in order to get one large league up and running? I think that's the best option at this point since it appears we don't have enough to do the multiple leagues this year. It would be a shame to not do anything. Could we have a draft tomorrow night? (Wednesday?)

Thanks Zool. I went ahead and signed up. I have a few questions on the scoring. Passing TD are 6 points? I feel like we had that set at 4 last year as 6 overvalues the QB's imo. Also, no negative points for INT's, fumbles?

Usually with QB's you either want to have 6pts but then -2 for INT's or you do 4Pts but still -1 for INT's. Otherwise you can pretty much win the league by drafting a top QB 1st round. Just sayin'

If you're not logged in when your pick comes up, it goes to autodraft automatically. You can also go to Draft Central/Pre-Draft Rankings to have Yahoo use a customer ranking you set -up.

Not after I just spend an hour pre-ranking my players. My other draft should be over in the early stages of this draft, so I should be able to jump on shortly after the draft starts. Of course, that is an auction draft and the amount of time it takes could vary.

NO!!! Just stay in now. We have the 12 we need. I thought we couldnt get more than 14 to play. This thing is the biggest mess ever this year.

Please let us know before the draft what the new QB scoring will be. Has a major effect on draft strategy.

If it doesnt change before the draft, I'm not sure it can be after that. Would have a huge effect on who you should take early if it stays the way it's set now.

OK... 12 Team League same roster sizes took EXACTLY 1 hour. Should be good.

You can have the draft at any time, and then use retroactive stats. I know somebody that is in a league that is doing this. They used to always draft the Saturday before the opener, and kept that in place once the NFL started kicking off with a Thursday game. I think it's a bit weird, but it's doable.

And I think we have to keep 6 points for passing TDs because we were all under the assumption that it was. I likely wouldn't have taken Tom Brady so high with 4 points for passing TDs, for example.

You cant change after the draft when everyone can see the posted rules there. I took Brees 1st round for God's sakes! If the rules change now I'm done. But with 6Pts TD pass and ZERO penalty for INT's you gotta go with a big time TD pass guy 1st round or high round.

6pts and no INT penalty makes Romo a pretty good bargain where I got him!

No happy with my drafting overall though. Morris was premature, I should've grabbed a WR in that slot. Harvey messed me up by taking Dez right in front of me and the 3WR no flex position messed me up.
