The only way you end his career is to rip his tongue out.

Preseason or not, this is going to be a tough, physical game. Those hawks play dirty and I just hope no one gets hurt tonight. But we haven't escaped a game yet this year or even last year without someone getting hurt.

Things to watch for:
Bacteria should get a good test from Chris Clemons. Avril is not playing.
First time we'll see DuJuan Harris and Lacy on same night.
Hope to see Barclay back up the RT position.
Hope one of the backup QB's look good.
Want to see more plays by McMillian.
Not sure if Hayward is playing. If not, Hyde should get a lot of playing time today.
Wrap up a roster spot Johnny!

so how long do we have to sit through to worthless asshole blabbing before kickoff?

pittstang5
08-23-2013, 07:08 PM
already burned
so, after two plays i can safely say that we still haven't figured out the run/option
pittstang5
08-23-2013, 07:09 PM
now twice.

08-23-2013, 07:10 PM
now, 3rd and long...can they hold
pittstang5
08-23-2013, 07:10 PM
now, 3rd and long...can they hold
Middle of the field WIDE FUCKING OPEN
its amazing that after 3 or 4 years that every single person that runs across the middle of our defense is always open by at least 5 yards
why can't we still figure that out?
fuck you ron winters
arrogant prick
worst prof i ever had
pittstang5
08-23-2013, 07:13 PM
another 3rd and long....
pittstang5
08-23-2013, 07:13 PM
God damn...middle of the fucking field...AGAIN!
pittstang5
08-23-2013, 07:15 PM
Fuck, it don't matter. 1st down - stop, 2nd down - stop. 3rd down - middle of the field - wide open!
thank god cm III
and the team shows some fight after the whistle
pittstang5
08-23-2013, 07:15 PM
THat's right Mathews - GET SOME!
someone needs to pound through that thick wig of capers that an 18 yard gain on 3rd and 19 when they are in or close to field goal range should still not be acceptable
Joemailman
08-23-2013, 07:20 PM
Brad "Just A Guy" Jones has had a couple of nice plays.
more fighting after the whistle
FUCK YEAH, AIM FOR THE KNEES

steve823
08-23-2013, 07:22 PM
Good to see dejuan Harris out on the field
Brad "Just A Guy" Jones has had a couple of nice plays.
that big stick of his in the backfield was something i didn't think he was capable of to be honest
yup, they can talk all they want about 1000 yard runners and all, we haven't tried to run the ball yet
same old M3, he's already forgotten about the run
pittstang5
08-23-2013, 07:25 PM
Haven't seen a running play yet.
pittstang5
08-23-2013, 07:27 PM
1st run and it could have been much worse
pittstang5
08-23-2013, 07:29 PM
Seahawks will blitz here
1st team o still can't get the ball in
that is starting to become worrisome IMO

08-23-2013, 07:34 PM
First Impressions:
1. Wayne and Larry need to replaced
2. Run D OK, Pass D WTF?
3. Raji once again shook free for QB pressure and the guy broke loose for 13 yards. Something has to be done about this. You can't waste that kind of pressure.
HOW THE FUCK IS THAT A TD?????????????????????
pittstang5
08-23-2013, 07:35 PM
yes!
pbmax
08-23-2013, 07:35 PM
Giacomini is exercising a grudge against the Packers D.
pbmax
08-23-2013, 07:36 PM
Its Darrel Bevel and Mike Sherman's offense. Of course that was a screen on 2nd and forever!
pittstang5
08-23-2013, 07:36 PM
ugh
steve823
08-23-2013, 07:36 PM
I wish we did screens like that:-?
i think the worse thing our defence can do is get into a second or third and long situation
because we have no clue how to defend those
pittstang5
08-23-2013, 07:38 PM
that #64 is dirty has shit...been shovong after the play all game. Does Carroll have a "Playing Dirty" clinic.

Don't lose your shirt. They went no huddle and had the Seahawks in base with Packer's 3 wide or 2 TE personnel. It was designed to be pass plays. They did have at least one run-pass option.
pbmax
08-23-2013, 07:46 PM
Brad Jones being looked at by the doc. too.
which body part?
kuhn runs = waste of play
pbmax
08-23-2013, 07:47 PM

pbmax

running game isn't so effective when the d knows your qb can't throw the ball

08-23-2013, 08:18 PM
Harrell just doesn't have an arm teams have to respect. Young should be the backup. If he has to play, they can go with a pared down play list. He can at least make plays with his legs if the passing game isn't working smoothly.
Carolina_Packer
08-23-2013, 08:18 PM
Does Vin Diesel come with a translator?
pbmax
08-23-2013, 08:19 PM
OK. We always complain when the D doesn't communicate. In that case, they adjusted to the TE in the FB spot AND the motion of the slot receiver perfectly.
Seattle wanted a wide defender to leave the O right side and a safety filled the hole presnap. Left Perry to blow up the run because FB had to take wide defender and not head to hole. Good on the fly adjustment.

Does anyone else believe the Packers are lacking a speed receiver like Jennings to stretch the field? (Well, the announcer said Jones is a "burner" so maybe I'm wrong.)

Don't think Jennings was that much faster than anyone we have. Jones and nelson both have deceiving speed and Cobb is faster and more agile than jennings

You're right about Cobb. Nelson I guess. I hope they're both in shape to play the regular season because the receivers we got in this game may be as fast as Jennings, but they aren't as good route runners and getting separation downfield.

Jordy can stretch the field. And Cobb forces teams to worry about the middle which makes it easier to stretch the field. Besides, what good is stretching the field when Harrell is playing QB? They probably had hoped Charles Johnson would be stretching the field.
Guiness

So who comes out at QB for the 2nd half? I want to see someone other than Harrell.
My god, Lacy and Harris have 8 runs for 8 yds. Maybe Wist is on to something.

So who comes out at QB for the 2nd half? I want to see someone other than Harrell.
My god, Lacy and Harris have 8 runs for 8 yds. Maybe Wist is on to something.
If Builaga and/or Sherrod were healthy, I think T.J. Lang would be in danger of losing his starting job.

The receivers are in great shape in my opinion. Its the o line I worry about
I'm with you. The OL is a shambles. Seattle has some big boys up front.

I didn't see many holes. On one run Lacy broke three tackles just to get back to the line of scrimmage.
All those lousy runs came when Harrell was in. If Harrell is playing, i'm stacking the box too. But the o-line showed nothing - no push, nothing

Lacy is going to have his leg broken soon.

There wasn't much there, but Lacy needed to take that toward his one blocker wide. Cut back was a bad decision.

It's because Carroll's team is dirty.
