I don't know if someone started this already but........

I noticed that a lot of people start posts stating it's their birthday, so I thought why not start a thread were everyones b-day is listed. People could start checking the thread regularly and we can wish that given person a happy b-day. I guess I will be first....

I was born on November 6, 1986

Also, I wounder whos b-day is on the same day because some people have to have it the same. And BTW, I understand some people don't like to tell their age, so it's ok to lie about the year.(ladies)

My daughers were born in September and October.

Strategic births to ensure they were amongst the oldest in their classes, which will help them secure basketball scholarships to the UW MAD.

And those of you that know me know I'm not kidding. Baby season is December - Feb in our household.

Cheers,

B, this may be a dumb question, but what does being the oldest in your class have to do with getting a basketball scholarship?

The only benefit I saw to the older kids in my class was that they could drive us younger ones to all the parties

They have those extra months to develop physically. If they were born in August they'd be the youngest in their class. But Sept 1st is the cutoff where kids can be held back.

My daugher turns 6 on October 19th and she's pretty tall for Kingergarden and she'll be one of the oldest. Had she been born 8/31 she'd be going into first grade with about the same physical skills.

Why do men hate Oprah so much?

these guys can fill you in......

http://www.ihateoprah.com/aboutus.htm

Here is their top "blurb" - The number one reason thou why we hate Oprah is because she abuses to the max, her power and influence, to brainwash her viewers into buying expensive materialistic items that she promotes on her show for her own profit, and then preaching the next day on a new show topic about poverty, and how mentally unhealthy it is to get into debt because women are buying these expensive hyped clothes or some other useless product.

Oprah also uses her show for personal attacks. Just look at James Frey. She knew before his book did not add up. She was warned by her staff. When James Frey was exposed by someone else, she even defended him on CNN live. Then when her fan base, her audience, her pipeline of cash, was not in favor of defending Frey, she quickly did a 180, got Frey on the show, brought a group of people to tag team him, and attacked him to get revenge for making her look so stupid in front of so many people, but more importantly, making him rich, and her poorer at her own expense.

As well Oprah has been proven to be a liar. She use to declare on her shows she never did drugs (crack). Then one day when a newspaper was about to expose her drug use, she admitted it and came clean, but only because she was about to be exposed.

Read the top 10 list.... pretty funny stuff

Why do men hate Oprah so much?

Interesting. I was not aware that many man supposedly hate Oprah.

I watch her show infrequently but when I do, she often has a variety of guests, and covers a diversity of topics. I also enjoy her sense of humor.

Perhaps the only thing I don't like is when her show is about fashion trends.
Then it becomes more of a "Chick" show.

someone should create a poll asking how old they are. Obviously alot don't like to say how old they are for various reasons. I'm just curious as to what the average age of posters are in here.

Maybe the poll could go something like this:

13-17
18-21
22-25

etc...like an age bracket for every 3-4 years.

Yes Madtown and all the limp wristed mods here allow my wife to be insulted and run down. They do NOTHING about it.

So far retailguy, the_idle_threat, and mraynrand have all insulted my wife in this thread http://www.packerrats.com/ratchat/viewtopic.php?t=3159&start=120 and J-Rok has yucked it up.

Real nice board you got here. Why is this acceptable to all of you? No one will admit this was totaly fucked up so I'll just have to keep it going.

I can't believe I post with people not even 1 year older than my little girl - AND THEY KNOW MORE THAN I DO!

Not only do I feel old, but, I feel incredibly stupid.

Ah well, at least I'm not dunce in my MBA class. There are at least 2 people less "gifted" than myself.

10/24/1963. Now, show a little respect, punks!

Listen, if you wanna make a rant, there is an adequate thread for it on this RR part of the forum. It is called Rants. Go figure.

Show a little respect, you might receive some. Repost this there, and I'll give you my honest opinion.

Wow, that MN win was 6 years ago already? I remember I was in Milwaukee most of that week for new product training for work and a bunch of us were watching that. Then the next night we stayed up as long as we could waiting to hear who our new President would be.....needless to say we couldn't quite stay up that long to wait

Happy B-day Oregonpackfan!

Hey, thanks to you and Ballhawk for remembering my birthday!

We just had a quiet family meal at home. To really kick things up, my wife and I spent two hours at my daughter's Curriculum Night event at her school(Do we old guys know how to party, or what?)

I received an Oregon Ducks polo shirt, a new Packers cap, and a new traveling backpack for my bicycle. I still ride the two-wheeled bicycle. I haven't regressed to the three-wheeled bike just yet.

If the Packers could give me a win this Sunday over the Lions, that would really top things off!

You are in the prime of your life. Seize the day! Look up the addresses and phone numbers of the Packer "Bikini Girls."

Oh, BTW, congratulations on your birthday.

For my family and friends, must have been something going on in May. My dad, sister in law, and my sister's best friend were all born on February 2; I was born on February 3, 1963. I am just barely old enough to remember all the lousy post-Lombardi years but none of the ones with him as coach. :bang:
