Strikes me that McKenzie is planning a few changes yet. The Raiders 53 man roster has:

2 punters
4 QBs
2 FBs
4 TEs

but only:
5 linebackers
3 safeties (one of which is Charles Woodson)

What a mess of a team out there...

Reggie needs to just strip it down to nothing and start over - build the OL and defense, and go from there.

When you don't have a starting QB, maybe you figure you need 2 punters.

Don't you put yourself in an awkward spot when you keep 2 punters and 4 QB's? Everyone knows you've got to make moves, so you have little leverage.

when you only have 34 NFL caliber players, you can pretty much keep whatever you want 35-53.

Was the "Sherm" Mckenzie's mentor?

Any GM who keeps 2 punters on the 53 must hereby be shitcanned immediately.

Dern mac, you were supposed to copy Wolf and TT, not the PSL.

I'd like to see them do a version of the music city miracle with two punters

i forget what team it is, but i read yesterday that after cuts there is a team that runs the 3-4 that only has 3 total LBers on the roster

that might complicate things

I believe King was on the PS last year. A punter on the PS? I mean, this isn't a position that's a definition of scarcity.

Kluwe just got released by the Raiders and released 1 of their 4 QBs. So they're KIND OF getting back to normal numbers.
