It is a kind of cool stat. I have always defended Ted as a guy who believes in his methods but will break his own rules if necessary. But, given this crazy stat regarding Packer purity, this draft and develop idea has gone from a tendency to a strict, inviolable rule with Ted.
Really, only Rodgers and Matthews are break the bank can't lose them players. Every other player has to come in at market or be lost to free agency, so it is not like we are in cap hell because of a half dozen contracts and are forced out of free agency. You would think we would snag a free agent starter once in a while.
I'm not complaining. I just think that the Packer purity thing has gone from representing an admirable philosophy to borderline obsession.
btw check out this link and look for a b/w image of Curly aligning an offense against tackling dummies. Is that Don Hutson playing left end on the right side of the photograph?

There is also a guy in background center grabbing his junk and saying "I got yer snapshot right here, pal."

This is what you get with brainwashing.
51 out of 53 North Koreans believe that NK won the Olympics in 2011.

At first I thought it was Pickett and Jarret Bush. I know Bush was let go by Carolina after preseason. I guess we signed him his rookie year.
I always got Kuhn and Korey Hall mixed up. I thought Kuhn was drafted by the Packers and Korey Hall came from the Steelers.

The Vikings have 20 of 53 players drafted and developed by the Packers.

We have 2 of 3 QBs developed and discarded by San Fran. Well, slight exaggeration.
