With the new South End Zone additions, we are all the way up to 17,000 (and change).

Should just be another 20 or 30 years now.

I will take PB's place in line when he croaks. I should be able to get them in time to retire.

I had a customer who had a good laugh when I delivered their postcards with their waiting list number on it. it was 91,000ish. Maybe their great-great grandkids...

i just don't get why they wouldn't expand lambeau into the 100,000 seat + area. when you have that many people on the waiting list you go big and bring in as much coin as humanly possible

40% of your return on investment (not including Pro Shop and beverages) goes to the visiting team.

there aren't enough front lawns to park all those extra cars.

that still leaves you with a shitload of extra money. what are we at now with the new addition? 80,000? 100,00o would give you 25% more ticket sales. that a ton of money

as for the parking, i don't think the team cares, they've already eaten up about half of the giant parking lot they had with pre game shit that eats up parking spots. hell, build a giant parking garage or 3

and when i say they should have increased it to 100,000, i mean when they did the first major renovation, when they increased the size of the bowl and push the sky box belt outwards. they went from like 56,000 to 70,000, they should have push the skyboxes out another 40 feet and added 30,000 more seats

If it were easier to get season tickets people might be less inclined to think it was cool they have them?

i wonder what the actual number would look like

lets say the stadium was 200,000 and all 100,000 on the waiting list were contacted and told to pay up

what percentage would actually pay the money to get the tickets?

i'm guessing maybe 50% or lower. most people on the list don't live anywhere near wisconsin, so its not even realistic for them to pay up, a lot more are kids who have no money and have parents and grandparents who are already on the list

It would be easier to just raise ticket prices.

Yep. And even if they stayed the same, increased availability would reduce the ability of current ticket holders to resell, or at least lower prices. If that happens, suddenly families who must sell a few games to afford the tickets and other costs of attending would be more likely to turn them over.

I suspect it would't take more than red's expansion to shave that list down significantly.
