Journal-Sentinel now says Hayward is expected to miss a month and "they hope" to have him back after the bye for Detroit. Hamstring.

Also Morgan Burnett questionable for tomorrow with a hamstring.

This training camp injury crap is just awful. AWFUL.

These hammy pulls can linger all damn season too. We are going to be thin right from the get-go.

I would hope and imagine that the Packer staff researches the number of hammy injuries they suffer versus the other teams.

This is ridiculous. Losing Burnett - probably about the fourth player you could least afford to lose on this team for a game - is a big blow.

What happened to our off-season soft-tissue-injury navel-gazing?

This is why I don't feel reassured when people point to our injury rate from last year. If we couldn't keep our guys healthy from non-contact injuries last season, why should we be any different this time around?

Packers had another year where hamstring injuries were prevalent and they managed to get that under control. I wonder of these latest are heat related (it finally got hot) or if they are just end of camp fatigue.

Jones and Burnett had much more mild hamstring injuries than Hayward originally had. Jones and Burnett were just sore earlier this week after returning.

Hayward is sort of a blow. He's pretty solid and now misses 25% of the season. Rumor had it the Vikings wanted him with Josh Robinson second on the list.

Hang on, hang on, wait 'til we're done with him.

Is there a player on the Packers' roster that the Vikings DON'T want???

Going out on a limb here...Mason Crosby?

There's a web site for everything now...http://www.aidyourhamstring.com/hamstring-pain/hamstring-muscle-tendon-tear.php

There are probably things that can be done to try and prevent hammy injuries, but nothing that would fully prevent them, short of not playing :-)

Anyone on your offensive line and none of your running backs.

I would consider your QB.......

What a relief to know Sitton and Lacey are safe from being Vikingized.

Sitton and Lang would be a huge upgrade on Fusco and Johnson. The Vikings do have a major advantage at OT though.
