PFT has a piece about JJ Watt returning to the field with blood streaming down his face. They make a good point that it's kind of surprising he was allowed to do that.

He was in pretty bad shape, and I doubt other players would be too happy at the prospect of getting bled on...not because they're queasy, but who know what he could have? Up until now, a blind eye has been turned to small cuts, abrasions, etc, but that could change. Might make it hell for linemen who tend to get small cuts on their hands and forearms, the net result might be guys getting pulled out for a play or two while it gets stopped.
