Seriously, looks like more Banjo. he was subbed in for Jennings for the second half, neither player given an explanation and he stayed in.

“I had no clue I was going in,” Banjo said. “Just before I got in, they just told me you’re going to be going in this series and I had no question. I just went in and tried to do my job.”

This was all I could think about.

Cobb utilized a Segway to navigate the locker room after the game, but didn’t speak to the media. He was placed on injured reserve with designation to return this week after breaking his fibula against the Ravens.

So what are Banjo's strengths and weaknesses relative to McMillan The Wife and Doc Jennings?

Banjo, so far, doesn't seem to get himself in bad positions. He is where he is supposed to be. And then he is the team's best tackler outside of Masthay and Crosby. He is not tall and I am unsure of his speed.

All I know is the Packers are getting NFL starter mileage out of two (three?) former Jacksonville rejects.

Which may explain in part why Jacksonville is 0-whatever.

Seriously, wasn't sure about it on TV, but in photos those yellow helmets look good with the throwback. Also when was the last time teams played with NO helmet logos?

Cleveland does it every week.

Dammit, that was supposed to say BOTH teams played ...

Well PITT has a logo on one side only. So CLE - PITT is the closest you will get to that with regular unis.

Packers sometimes seem to troll the media, launching something that would become a media storm in any other scenario. But the players and coaches seem to trust each other enough that it doesn't ever get out of control. Plus McCarthy can do a pretty good Belichick and the coach and Rodgers have mastered admitting something and saying that its a good thing.

The Packers have evolved through necessity to the point that McCarthy mentioned how his quarterback "did a great job of managing a game."

Of course, that alarmed Rodgers, who said, "He called me a game manager?"

Relax, No. 12, McCarthy said no such thing. "That's the way I want to play here," McCarthy said. "Not a game manager, but someone who takes care of the football."

Banjo was not invited to the Combine. However, the 40 time he put up at his Pro Day would have put him among the top 5 safeties at the Combine. I suppose it's possible that was on a faster track, but I suspect his height was why he was not drafted, not his speed.

JSO Packer-Browns Notes (http://www.jsonline.com/sports/packers/packers-linebacker-mike-neal-eases-into-playing-injured-b99124138z1-228573431.html)

Practice counts: In the past week, for about 30 minutes a session, cornerback Davon House caught passes from backup quarterbacks Seneca Wallace and Scott Tolzien after practice. He worked on looking the ball in, on concentrating.

Sunday, House had three breakups again. This time, the big day included a fourth-down interception of Brandon Weeden.

"I'm going to continue to do so, because it's paying off," House said. "It's making me better. It's like 30 minutes after practice, I catch balls with them."

From Packers Replay (http://www.jsonline.com/sports/packers/packers-replay-b99124142z1-228573821.html)

Myles White had his first NFL catch, a 9-yard reception, and played extensively in the slot.

So if James Jones comes back, is it White or Boykin in the slot?

Yes, King has to clear waivers. Did it once, so I would think he will again. RT @evanhatestwitr: Has to clear waivers now, right?

it's a bad way

Movement in his extremities, now this: RT @MikeGarafolo: #Packers TE Jermichael Finley did some walking around this morning. Great to hear.

So will Myles Standish or Jarrett Boykin play the slot?

IF it's the bigger guy, Boykin, could we see the return of the slant?

And will Quarless catch any passes in Minny?

i was wondering if maybe all the quick short throws to boykins were something to prepare him for that kind of role

I think Boykin proved he can play the slot until Cobb returns from the IR.

But didn't Finley have the slot and then White versus the Browns? Thought Boykin was mostly the Split End. Now that I think about it, Jordy took some snaps in the slot as well trying to move Haden around.

That is true but I was thinking more of when James Jones returns. I think they lined Finley up in the slot because he runs similar routes playing TE. I'm sure they will mix up who plays the slot at times but Nelson and Jones are our best deep threats which is why I think they'll go with Boykin in the slot for majority of the snaps.

Packers inquired about WR Tavarres King, Broncos promoted him, then cut him. Now: Panthers have claimed him. Quite a whirlwind

I watched Rodgers PC, and he wasn't upset in the least. Totally joking. ARod was in great spirits following the game. I get the feeling he really likes the vibe of this team.

Yes, that was my understanding. But if this was New York or New England, it would have been 3 days of questions and denials.

Onside kick fumble was with normal kick return team, not the hands team.

Great expectations: The reason rookie wide receiver Myles White was in the game instead of Jordy Nelson to field an onside kick was that the Packers did not have their hands team on the field.

White mishandled the bouncing kick and Cleveland recovered, but the Browns were offside and had to kick over again.

"We had our normal kickoff return team in the game, but we can function that play and should have functioned that play with our normal kickoff return," special teams coach Shawn Slocum said. "We put our onside-prevention team in on the next attempt."

Why does Reggie Dunn keep getting the short end of the stick? Either they want him on the practice squad or not. We have now signed him, cut him, signed him again, and cut him once more.

He doesn't have any compromising pictures of MM or TT.
