You need to watch a game right away. After a traumatic event, you need to confront your fears as soon as possible. It's like if you fall off a ladder....No wait. It's like if you are in an automobile accident, you need to get out and drive again as soon as possible.

Red needs to wait until there is a game with two NFL teams. Watching Tampa attempt football would be like wrecking his loaner car.

If the game is at Tampa I would sanitize my remote before watching the game. You don't want to catch a staph infection.

There are only two games this week that feature two teams with winning records, Dallas @ Detroit and NY Jets @ Cincinnati. Red may need to stick to college games this week, or perhaps High school.

Dallas goes up 13-10 on another Detroit turnover, but ex-Packer Jeremy Ross returns the following kickoff for 44 yards, setting up a Detroit FG. That's the same Jeremy Ross who could manage on 75 yards on 6 returns for the Packers.

Ross was the target on the interception return to the 2 yard line. I'm not positive he could have done anything about it, but the route was a bit lazy. Kind of what we saw from him with the Packers in the preseason.

Now I really need to know if the clock should have stopped. Lions probably wouldn't have had enough time to go down the field if they only had 25 seconds. Still, the most pathetic defense I've seen from any team in that situation. Cowboys looked like they thought the game was already over. Morons.

Are the Jaguars the worst team ever? Halfway through the season, they are being outscored by an average of 32-11. The Lions in 2008 were outscored 32-17. The Lions had a chance in a few of their games that year, losing 4 by 7 points or less. The closest the Jaguars have been was a 10 point loss to Oakland.

It seemed like Rodgers was really steamed on one play the week before Ross got cut -- the one against the Bengals when Roodgers rolled to his right and eventually tried to run in for a TD. I wondered what happened there.

Stafford's favorite play is "screw it, throw it to Megatron in triple coverage"

I would love to see us find a Jason Witten type of TE. The guy knows how to play and he always figures out how to get open whenever Romo is in trouble or gets flushed out of the pocket. I also loved how he was getting into Dez Bryants face and telling him to look at the scoreboard, (Dallas was ahead at the time.) when Bryant was having his hissy fit on the sideline in the first half. Witten was telling him to shut the fuck up and worry about winning the game and not about how many catches he had.

Yea that 80 yard drive M. Stafford and the Lions put together with 12 seconds remaining to seal a one point victory over the Boys was amazing.

Megatron was a real force throughout that game ... out of this world amazing. It was hard for me to believe that his 329 yards receiving didn't set a game record. That record ... 336 yards ... Nov. 26, 1989 - Flipper Anderson LA Rams in an OT game Vs the NO Saints.

Seattle showed the league they have a chink in their armor. Their tackles are not very good and inexplicably Carroll chose not to give either tackle assistance and the Rams really hammered Wilson all night long. You can run on them too. The chickens of the sea were ripe for an upset but the Rams didn't have a decent QB.

Dallas has the worst pass defense in the league. Even when the Detroit game is removed they are still the 4th worst pass defense team.

I am still not convinced that Detroit is a "real" contender. They could barely beat Dallas at home and only did because of a complete melt down by Dallas in the last minute of the game.
