he must be a fast healer. i don't he'll play sunday if he hasn't practiced yet.

but it sure seems like help is on its way

This is terrible. The team was finally getting going after losing some key people. This just gives him more time to injure a hamstring.

Wait a second. Didn't he break a bone in his foot?

Sounds like it might have been the second metatarsal in his pinkie toe.

thats what they originally thought. so either he's a very fast healer, or they got it all wrong when they said he broke something

giving the track record of our medical team, i'd say they probably screwed up

Either that or Nick Perry is Wolverine. I wouldn't put it past TT to draft someone who turns out to be a marvel comic super hero.

On Thursday, Perry was not in a boot. And Friday, he practiced. The Packers might be getting him back sooner rather than later.

I could be wrong, but I think the boot was the problem.

M3 said he was very limited in practice but did say they were going to try to get him ready for Sunday night. A lot probably depends on how his foot feels tomorrow.

He's coming back sooner than expected? You's think a young player like him would try to fit in.

You can play with a stress fracture, but then it will just get worse.

There is nothing magical about Nick Perry that would allow his bone to heal fast.

I don't get this.

I don't either. Bones don't mend this fast, unless he never had a fracture in the first place?

Is that accurate or are you joshing?

Or the reports from the world-renowned journalists at WDUZ and TMJ might have been a wee bit off and he had a non-displaced fracture in his foot and the normal recovery time is 2 weeks in a boot.

Nondisplaced fractures of the proximal portion of metatarsals 1 through 4 can be managed acutely with a posterior splint followed by a molded, non–weight-bearing, short leg cast. If radiography reveals a normal position seven to 10 days after injury, progressive weight bearing may be started, and the cast may be removed three to four weeks later.

I don't believe you can safely use a foot to play football after 2 weeks of healing. But maybe we'll find out.

If perry is even questionable he should sit, I think we could handle the vikings with out him. With that being said I think this is the definition of a trap game and I am a bit worried

Trap game? This is the team with GREG FUCKING JENNINGS on it...who repeatedly slapped your franchise in the mouth every chance he got walking out the door and couldn't stop talking stupid trash about our QB even months after the fact. This is the team with ADRIAN FUCKING PETERSON on it...who repeatedly ran for 800 yards a game on us last year and his always a thorn in our side.

This is the FUCKING MINNESOTA FUCKING VIKINGS playing for the last time in that FUCKING INFLATABLE FUCKING MARSHMELLOW!!

How is this a trap game? Playing Cleveland is a trap game. Playing Philly is a trap game. The Vikings should NEVER be a trap game at this point. Besides, the Bears aren't much to look forward to without Cutler.

I forgot about Jennings, which will motivate arod, however the queens are a joke and we face the bears next week. To me that is a trap.

For it to be a trap game, you need to have an IMPRESSIVE MATCHUP coming up that makes the team OVERLOOK who they are currently playing because they have their eyes on the future matchup.

Think Indy losing to San Diego before beating Denver.

Who the hell is coming up on the Packer schedule that is significant?

How many weeks do you think we will be saying this before it actually happens?

With CHI, PHI the next two weeks I am OK for letting him heal a little longer.
