The Packers offense is dramatically different with and without Finley.

They seemed to run a lot of slants, curls, and crossing routes today. Their passing game reminded me of the 2007 team.

I prefer this offense and think they may be more effective without their cover two buster.

What do you think?

Yes but this short passing game has historically worked under MM. They went to the NFC championship in 2007 and then the Super Bowl three years later with it. I think that having a guy like Finley limits the creativity and productivity of the other guys.

Its also what Rodgers said to Tafoya. They are seeing a lot of single-high safety coverage.

Yeah, Lacey is the Cover 2 buster, no doubt about it.

I guess I don't see how Finley being out opens things up. Pack ran a lot of slants and crossing routes when they had Jackson and Chewy as TEs.
