Xbox One vs. PS4

Now Snake knows a bunch of ya are old cronies...yet Snake has a pretty nice setup and is a techie guru to say the least with 6 HDTV's in his house. I own EVERYTHING tech orientated and own EVERY videogame system to date.

Xbox 360: Probably got 200 plus disc-owned games...plus almost 200 arcade downloadables...I have no room left on my 250gb HDD.

PS3: I usually just go exclusive as I have about 80 disc games and over 110 downloadable arcade titles..mainly cuz Playstation Plus is so awesome and gives you a new one weekly either via PS3 or the Vita.

Wii: I hate it..just for my g-friends kid lately but probably 50 games and 10 downloaded.

Wii U: 10 games..6 downloaded.

I laugh my ass off at the specs and all these teens talking shit cuz PS4 is supposedly more powerful than the new Xbox One...who cares? I'm preordering both with Amazon.com and getting 5% back with my Freedom Chase CC with no tax or shipping charges....so $850 for both.

Snake doesn't post as much on here or play vids hardly EVER anymore cuz I'm at my girl's house the last 3 years often..who wants kids, my house, family, etc...so little time to play if at all. I make time for new Call of Duty's and shooters like Battlefield 4.

Snake is a collector and gets much flak from my girl cuz of my cash I put to vids..yet I can sell all that shit back cuz I mostly buy off of gamefly.com cuz they sell new games cheap at 9.99 after only 3 months.

I'm only seeing if anyone has any interest in the new systems or if anyone games. Snake is good at all games..and EVERYTHING in life...no BS..but rarely can play much the past few years.

I know most think the PS4 is gonna be soooo much better, but honestly, it looks like Battlefield 4 looks better on Xbox One than one PS4 even though virgin fanboy's say it has 900p resolution vs 720p on Xbox One which is still unconfirmed...LOL...it looks better on Xbox One somehow and I love the Xbox controller vs. the shitty PS3 controller.

Who cares? I got both preordered on Amazon.com. Playstation controller sux..and the LIVE servers with the cloud on Xbox are so much better. It will be like the current gen where PS3 had a bit of power on 360 but the games looked better on Xbox and played better. I'll get exclusives on PS4 like Killzone.

I rarely play...I get a batch of games every week in the mail....play for 10 min..never touch them again...but I'm an Xbox guy cuz of the controller and LIVE.

Hey I'll get both. So if anyone on here games..hit me up and I'll send my gamertags and maybe we can play as I prefer shooters. COD Ghosts, Battlefield 4 on Xbox One...and Killzone on PS4.

i'm a gamer, but i'll probably be taking a pass on this generation, at least for a long time

if anything, i'll be picking up a PS3 now that the price of those have bottomed out. i've had a 360 for this generation and liked it, but i got sick of the monthly fee's to play games i own online.

there's a ton of games for the ps3 that i have wanted to play, so i'll probably pick up one of those used for 100-125 and have fun with that until the newer systems come way down in price, then if anything i would probably get a PS4

i have no desire what so ever to get an Xbox one at this point, and only a little desire for the PS4

I have satellite internet with limited bandwidth, terrible lag initiating connections and never really cared to play games online anyway. I still see gaming as an introverted, anti-social activity and like it that way. I'm playing a game to escape my reality in an enjoyable, violent fashion, not to be surrounded by screaming cocksnorkles that I'd want to choke to death if they were in the same room as me. I'll get a ps4, but microsoft's reveal, which they later reneged, that demanded the system always be online to even use caused me to say "fuck that." I can't even get our 360s to update successfully. While they've backed off that, it's obviously the direction they want to head, which simply eliminates consumers like myself. But, like the other aging assholes around here, I've got shit to do, so I only get to gaming a few hours a week anyway, and even that cuts into my masturbation time. That'll probably change during the winter, since I'm not going to be clearing woods or fields in the snow, but one system will be more than enough.

Sony can still put a dick in their mouth for not making it backward compatible. Like I need another gay looking box under the TV.

i'm in the same boat with the satellite internet, just not fast enough or reliable enough to have to be connected full time. plus, with my 360 i just really got tired of paying money every month to play multiplayer games online that i already owned and to watch netflix which i already pay for

i'm shocked microsoft was stupid enough to even think they could pull off the always online thing after the absolute clusterfuck EA had with simcity earlier this year

The phone wires out here are original and barely handle phone traffic adequately, much less interweb signals. There is no cable. The multi-millionaire neighbor paid tens of thousands of dollars to have a personal T1 line run from town to his cabins on his game farm, but he ain't sharing cuz he's a fuckface backstabbing sneak of a whore, so the only option is satellite. It's really not that bad unless you want to game online, which I rarely ever did. Although it did render my copy of Diablo 3 completely useless thanks to their always online clusterfuck requirement.

Once Hughesnet makes the connection here, which takes a pretty fucking long time sometimes - especially to adservers of course, the speed typically isn't an issue as long as it holds that connection.

I dunno. I see you online alot when I actually get online on LIVE, Red, but always hide my LIVE status cuz a bunch of Internet fucks try to get Snake to play shit. I'm rarely on...but the PS3 is awesome for the browser as most Internet porn sites work great and me and the G-Friend love playing act it out..aka..he's fucking her ass and stepping on her head..let's do that..lol...but ya..I haven't tried it, but the summer LIVE update got Internet Explorer for LIVE..so check that out. Prob works great bro.
