Well Red finally couldn't bring it home so I desided to step up and try to get the Pack at least to Thanksgiving Day.

My wife and I are just leaving to go to Lambeau to watch the game and I haven't seen a regular season or playoff loss since 2007. Hopefully, that tradition can continue.

MM please remeber to use the screen and draw plays today. Seneca Wallace will need them.

Heading for Green Bay in a few minutes. I think we might see a more traditional Holmgren-style WCO today. Lots of screens and slants.

And a whole lot o' Lacy.

Looks like Q might get some receptions in the next few weeks, too. Wallace was looking at him a lot.

I get the feeling this will either be a tremendous victory, or a horrifying defeat. This isn't going to be a "meh" kind of game. Either the team is going to step up and play hard without their alpha male, or they are going to roll up into the fetal position and suck their thumbs.

Pugger
11-10-2013, 08:41 AM
I don't think they'll crawl into a fetal position. They'll play hard but that might not be enough. :-(

If you want a real shocker go to the NFL page on ESPN's website and check out their picks for today!

Packers win big. Eagles fall flat after their new hero throws 7 TD passes last week. Wallace throws for 2 TD and no INT's and the defense gets a couple big turnovers that turn the tide of the game.

Defense gets Turnovers??? What does that mean?

Bossman641

Hoping for a whole lot of Lacy and the defense to FINALLY cause some turnovers

denverYooper
11-10-2013, 09:47 AM
Defense gets Turnovers??? What does that mean?

Yeah, it's been a while, eh?

Hopefully Clay helps in that department. TOs seem to happen more often when he (and Perry) are around.

denverYooper
11-10-2013, 09:57 AM
The thing about the Eagles... they've been inconsistent at best. At times, their O sets the world on fire and they roll. But they're equally prone to bad, bad games. Before Oakland, they had 1 TD in the previous 2 games.

I hope Clay makes a difference. Just not sure how effective he will be with that growth at the end of his arm...

I hope Clay makes a difference. Just not sure how effective he will be with that growth at the end of his arm...

Well, he's a DPOY-caliber player with 2 arms and a fresh hammie. With 1 arm, he's probably just a Pro Bowler. He should have fresh wheels, so unless the club is exceedingly heavy, he'll still be fast enough to cause problems.

At the very least, the Eagles will have to account for him when he's in the game.

You should just tell us. Their NFL page is so busy, it's near impossible to find anything quickly.

10 of 13 ESPN Experts pick the Packers over the Eagles.

It should be noted of the three that pick the Eagles one is ESPN pick leader Ron Jaworski with an outstanding 94-39 pick record on the season through 9 weeks. The Eagles are 4-1 on the road this season.

Both Sean O'Hare and Sterling Sharpe go Packers on the early NFL.Com Picks show.

In the other direction 6 of 8 CBS Experts go Eagles and their season pick leader @ 91-43, Jamey
Eisenberg, predicts a Packer win.

Will the Green Bay Packers actually drop two consecutive games at Lambeau Field?

I hope that MM is confident and patient with our running game throughout this game.

We need strong support from the OL and everywhere on the 'D'. We need to be +2 in TO's.

I hope the 12th man ... the Packer fans are in this game for 60 minutes.

We must tough this one out and pick up this win.

GO PACK !

this is a pretty defining moment for fat mike. its been my contention that we win inspite of our coach, and that he has benefited greatly from his two HOF QB's making him look better then he is

in this game, he has no HOF QB. however, in every other aspect, our team is better then the eagles. this is a game we still should win easily

if M3 losses out to a rookie coach and his team that looks like shit, then i will be down at 1265 tonight with the pitchfork and torch demanding we get a real head coach, not just settle for Mike Sherman part 2, who won a ton of games here but couldn't cut it in the pros or at the college level without favre and now has a cerimonial job in Miami

MM needs a win to defuse the pressure. MM needs to school an NFL Rookie HC and that is especially vital in this home game. We can't drop two straight at Lambeau Field.

There will be a lot of Packer fan eyes on MM. MM has call this one right and needs to see his team win this game.

It isn't a good thing if the Packers have to visit the NY Giants next week after two straight loss's and a 5-4 record; have to go up against a very possibly rejuvenated Giants team with three straight wins if they defeat the Raiders at home today.

GO PACK !

odds stacked against pack today. Eagles coaches worked with Wallace 2 yrs ago. Eagles threw 7tds last week and our pass def is weak. Therefore pack wins by 10. :-/. At least I can hope. That's how these things tend to play out. Gotta force 2+ turnovers and give up less than 20 pts on d. Uncle Rico for the win.

WOW!

I just watched the NFL.Com Experts (Marshall Falk, Michael Irvin, Kurt Warner and Steve Mariucci) declare that the Green Bay Packers with Aaron Rodgers and all he means to the team out 3-4 weeks and as Kurt Warner said maybe more are .... done this tear.

NO PLAYOFFS for the Green Bay Packers according to the NFL.Com experts.

No love for the Green Bay Packers. They couldn't wait one more week to make such a declaration?

These are the NFL experts !?? To close the coffin on the Packers season today isn't sensible IMO.

If we win today the record will be 6-3 and a first place tie in the NFCN.

GO PACK GO !

GB Inactives:

Receiver Chris Harper
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers
Cornerback James Nixon
Linebacker Andy Mulumba
Tackle Derek Sherrod
Defensive end Josh Boyd
Defensive end C.J. Wilson

Perry, Mathews and Lang are playing. This will help, but Wallace and the secondary are the wild cards. I just want him to manage the game, no gambles.
