We are getting close to that point of the season when less significant injuries will get a player placed on IR. For the Packers, it might be pushed up a bit because injuries to players that will be coming back have reduced the roster depth.

Assuming that both EDS and Barclay will miss some time, even if their injuries are not year ending, at least one roster spot will have to be cleared for another O-lineman, and maybe two, because they will need to have a center.

I wonder if they really think Sherrod is ready to play or not? If he is, they at least need a G/C type player. A Jason Spitz type of player.

If Wallace will be out even a short time, his season is probably done. GB will need a backup for Tolzien, and their isn't much reason to keep Wallace on the roster.

If Hayward aggravated the same hamstring that kept him out longer than expected the first time, they might as well shut him down for the year.

Perry? Who knows?

maybe the big change that M3 was talking about is to stop babying the millionaire players who can't play through some boo-boos?

rub some fucking dirt on it and get back out there

If he is injured, he gets his money anyway.

Early in the year, it was mentioned that the coaches and Rodgers really liked having an older, more experienced guy around to talk with Rodgers about what he was seeing from the defenses, etc. Up until now, Rodgers has never had that. Only younger, inexperienced QBs with him. If they really do like Wallace for that, put him on IR and keep him around. Of course, he wouldn't be under an obligation to stay in GB, and could go home if he wanted.

Hamstrings can be career enders if pulled in the wrong spot and then made worse. Its unfortunate, they need him.

I found it interesting that the only one to come back from an injury yesterday was Jolly. Could that be because he knows how an NFL career could be over in the blink of an eye and he doesn't take it for granted? I think some of these other players are over payed whine asses.

That's something a good coach and GM should of had in there long before this, as is a solid offensive line. it's as if they are happy to have a great QB, but don't want to protect him or hepl him in every way possible. Especially if god forbid to get some of those pieces you may have to play the free agency game, or gasp make some trades.

Made a lot tougher when you are missing two first round draft picks expected to be your tackles and the guy you drafted to be your center/guard depth.

I heard the league feels really bummed for Green Bay, so from here on out we are uncapped.
