Cutler has already matched McCown seven week interception total. I am so glad they picked Cutlet to start

And he also has a pick for a td now, hehehe

When I saw that they named him the starter, my first thought was that this is his final audition to be their QB next year. They are giving him the chance to prove he deserves a contract which I doubt they intend to offer.

Too bad. I was hoping he would play well enough that they would commit $15-20 million/year for the next 3-4 years to the Cutler era in Chicago.

this is kinda funny

bears have spent decades trying to find a franchise qb, they finally find one. he gets hurt, and the 34 or 35 years old that replaces him plays much better. the old guy gives you the best chance to win, but he's got no future. but how can you bench the only franchise QB your team has had in forever?

the whole situation is funny to a packer fan

its a lose-lose situation for chicago

It is kind of enjoyable, isn't it??

Highlight of the last few weeks anyway. I love the catch 22 they have put themselves in, but I do hope they decided to keep cutlery. Even if they only pay him tenish a year it's a good return on investment for us.

It can't be wrong if it feels so right!

heres an article from earlier this season that talks about cutler being the greatest QB in franchise history

lol

when you look at all the QB's they have, he probably is the best they ever had. here's a list saying eric kramer is the next best. followed by a guy that i think played when forward passes were illegal
