There is always Red Lobster:

Sexton partnered early on with Kyle Rote Jr., a noted former soccer player in Memphis, and they built an empire after signing White. The seminal moment came when White signed with the Green Bay Packers in 1993, the first year of free agency. (A cub SI reporter named Peter King tagged along on Sexton and White's recruiting trip.) Sexton said he knew White would choose Green Bay after a dinner with future teammates at Red Lobster, and the four-year, $17-million contract changed the course of Green Bay's franchise. For Sexton, who was 29 at the time, it changed the path of his career.

i'm so sick of hearing about applebee'sbeing the best place to eat in green bay

or red lobster or any other chain shit

you want good food in wisconsin? go find a good ole wisconsin supper club out in the boonies, you'll get some of the best food of your life and it'll probably cost you about as much as a meal at applebees. they aren't hard to find. take any county road until it meets up with any another county road, there will be one on the corner that has a "beer" sign hanging outside with a shitload of cars around it

What was that place that Michelle took Tar and I to in GB that was a refurbished rail car and had just reopened after a fire. They had really good food. And there was that other place on the river.

What do you eat? According to urbanspoon there are oodles of middling to upper end steakhouses (http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/63/680078/restaurant/Downtown/Black-Tan-Grille-Green-Bay) and one relatively upscale vegetarian joint http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/63/1641133/restaurant/Downtown/Three-Three-Five-Green-Bay).

Heck, they can go to Mackinaw's off of Voyager Drive or the Ten O One Club at 1001 Main St, Wally's Spot 1901 Main St.

There are ton of them in a book I found on Amazon re: Wis. Supper Clubs:

The Green Bay writers were just recommending Republic Chop House.

Call ahead, to make sure it'll be open, and it may be slightly out of your way...but, a little place by shawano lake called "The Spinning Wheel" is superb. Not sure what route you drive or anything else, but I get back home once a year and never miss it.

PS...it is a little small town, and a bit hickesh, so if that ain't yer thing, skip this. Food is awesome though, and the people are real.

This place is SW of Green Bay and for another time but all the same. What's this place like red for an eating experience?

I always go up on a Friday. Hit a corner tavern for fish & a supper club for "supper" on Saturday. You can buy a round of drinks at the tavern and you won't believe how cheap it is.

I like Mackinaw's but it is rather pricey. Highland Howies is pretty good but the place is rather small. These kinds of places are much better than the national chains IMO.
