McAdoo drawing interest around NFL for open positions

By: Tom Silverstein of the Journal Sentinel ... Jan. 6, 2014

Green Bay -

" It's very possible that Packers QBs coach Ben McAdoo, who had been pursued for a coordinator's position before, may be in line for a new job soon.

McAdoo is drawing interest for at least one offensive coordinator's position and possibly more, according to an NFL source familiar with recent coaching hirings." Fr. LINK

I hope he gets it.

A decent coach could really turn that club around.

Yes, this configuration of the offensive coaches has been a bit up and down. Great adjustments to the running game. But never solved red zone troubles. TE situation does't help.

I remember AR was less than thrilled when McAdoo took over for Clements as QB coach.

I was always impressed by his mid-range jumper.

What a stroke of good luck

Its what Dan Patrick says about the Bengals. They always find the banana peel.

Lol...dude was a scoring machine in his heyday. Not sure how he ever got involved in coaching football.

He wasn't happy with the change, but it seems like he came around.

Of course, that might just be a way to get him out of town!

Ben McAdoo's interview is set for Saturday, according to a source, so the OC search will at least continue through the weekend. #NYG

If he is in any way responsible for our red zone offense, let him go.

Not that fond of him. Don't mind if he leaves.

Wellll,.........................

“He’s a guy who really understands scheme and preparation and how to install plays,'' Rodgers said. "He did a great job the last couple years installing the red zone, and you saw him in front of the room every week"
