This is the dress rehearsal for opening day folks. I'll be looking to see if Jennings can get the starting WR position away from Fergy with a good performance. Of course, everyone will have their eyes glued on Ahman to see if he is the Ahman Green of old, or whether he is old Ahman Green. It will also be interesting to see who gets reps at RB with the 1st team once Ahman departs.

On defense, I'll be looking to see if any of the DT's do anything special to seperate themselves from the pack. I'll be looking to see how Marquand Manuel looks. I'll also be looking to see if Jason Hunter can solidify a roster spot with another good performance.

I just wanna see if the line can keep the pressure off Favre, they can continue to create turnovers, and the D can hold firm. Oh yeah, can Chuck catch a punt? I just wanna see some consistency and continued improvement.

I would really love to see the O-line improve again this week. Thats the most profound weekness we have IMO.

Would love to see the Defense step it up a notch as well. Road games are tough and even tougher when its Monday night

It will be interesting to see if the run blocking looks better with Green running the ball than it did with Davenport/Herron. I was not impressed at all with the way Davenport ran the ball, and he may have made the run blocking look worse than it was.

I popped in at one of the Bengals fan forums and there wasn't a word mentioned about the Packers....was really weird. They are just all worried about Palmer playing tomorrow night on a wet field ...guess it's supposed to rain there tomorrow.

TOUCHDOWN!! I'm getting ready for these calls that'll be coming all day tomorrow. Oh yeah, I need to warm up my mouth.

Poppinga pounds pressure and pops Palmer. Hawk swoops in and plucks the pass and takes it to the nest. Cheddar fans cheer at the sharpness of the play, while Hawk jumps over the wall and lands in their outstretched, green and gold hands.
...

K... ready.

Well, I'm off to spend the day with a Bungles fan! Should make the time go faster, with us both anticipating the game and all. Don't worry, 007 - I'll get some feedback on the Pack.

FC, I'm assuming you'll be taking Al with you? Then again, at least it's not a Queen or Bears fan that you have to spend the day with. Al could get to be quite the expensive date otherwise....

The Bengals had a ton of injuries on D last year.

I think we'll have a very rough nite tonite.

I will turn in a full report as I will be attending the game.

I hear the Beer Bottle aka Sam Adams is playing.

I wanna know (can't see it, or hear it, can only read about it like football was supposed be be followed  ), will we be able to compete against this raging bull and others like him.

The NFC North D-Lines are the trnches we need to take.

FC, I'm assuming you'll be taking Al with you?

Yes, I am going to pick up Al right now.

Bungles fan is all worried about Carson Palmer. Has little concern about the opponent. Although he has already used the disclaimer that only the first half counts - or as long as starters on both teams are playing. I'm hoping we at least lead at one point to get him sweatin' a little.

Can Chuck catch a punt and not get injured in the process?

O-line and D-line consistency, definitely. This is the last game time some of the frontliners will get before opening day.

Da Poop better have a good game tonight or I think he's sealed his fate.

Glad I took Jennings in my Fantasy League

O Line is looking good, too.

They do appear to giving favre good protection, but two penalties already and enough pressure to force a turnover on a blitz. I'm not impressed.

Ehhh...I've seen him force a lot worse. Driver was by no means "open", it was between a couple of defenders, but it should have been a completion. It just skied straight up off of Driver's hands, anytime that happens the ball is gonna be picked.

This is just a comedy of errors. 62 is laying on the ground while his guy deflects a pass. We get a great run on 1st down and holding is called, then the false start. The euphoria of the Falcon game is over and now it's back to reality and the reality is you don't start 2 GD rookies on the O line. There is a reason why that just is'nt done in the NFL.
