dollars(US$8,500,000.m) in a private bank here in Abidjan Cote
D´Ivoire.
He further advise me that, i should look for a foreign Investor to

I lost the contact during burial, since then, things weren't the same
as the money remained unclaimed hence an arrangement have been
concluded according to my late father to transfer the money to any investors
bank account for real estates project.

Do you guys get these emails all the time? I get on average one nigerian scam email a day it seems. I don't know why I get so many, but the frequency has greatly picked up since I started using eBay. At first, they were all about scamming me with just money orders, but now its all sorts of things like generic viagra and stuff.

Here's what you do, in your first email exchange, you make it very clear that you're interested in this mutually profitable partnership. Say that you're a little hesistant about sending your personal information out over the internet, and that once you receive some proof of the validity of his claims, you will get to work right away and begin researching investments for him.

Post his response, and we'll continue to screw with him from that.

Sounds like a pretty common scam to me, only more personalized than I've ever seen it done before.

I believe these are called 419 scams for people interested in learning about more common ones. I get a ton now that i'm on eBay, and they come in all forms.

These guys are good, they use images and html in email to make it look authentic and whatnot. Hell, sometimes they can even fake the email domain (@paypal.com). You've got to be very careful. Anything that asks you to click a link, verify information, or anything involving money I get to that companies homepage using a google search and call their 1-800 number.

Thounsands of people have lost their life saving by being taken advantage of this way. This one is really obvious, some are not. Hell, I was almost tricked into shipping an xbox thinking a Western Union money order was being delivered to me since they faked it so well.

It only got a little weird when I stopped responding to emails and they came out of their cover within an hour or so of our exchange.
