Van Pelt will get on players. Johnson recalls one game against Kansas City. He threw a bad interception, met Van Pelt on the sideline and the veteran was dumfounded.

“I said I thought they were in a certain coverage,” Johnson said. “And he said, ‘They don’t play that (expletive) coverage!’ He knew everything. He was awesome. I said, ‘You’re right. I’m seeing ghosts or whatever.’ There’s tons of examples. We all knew he’d be a coach.”

is van pelt all of a sudden make him accurate?

i still say we stick with flynn, he's proven he can win with this team if need be. tolzien couldn't

It doesn't shock me at all to find Rob Johnson confused about coverages.
