View Full Version : San Diego State RB goes all Dimitri Underwood

San Diego state RB Adam Muema has gone all Dimitry Underwood - left the combine because 'god told him too'. He also said god told him if he left, the Seahawks would draft him.

So he's disappeared now, last seen on a flight still wearing his combine gear.

And to think for years I thought when god talked to players he directed them to Green Bay!

you might be surprised how many non-crazy people take direction from god, and how many crazy people take direction from their secular gods.

The secular left media typically likes to tell only the rare stories of 'crazy' people listening to god.

I have noticed that God often directs players to the place where they will be paid the most money. This seems to be the rare case where the Big Man isn't thinking wallet first.

You would be better served to heed the warning of Vinz Clortho, Keymaster of Gozer:

"Gozer the Traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!"

Man, if I were Carroll/Schneider, I'd be tempted to take a flyer on the guy just cuz of this.

At this point, he's an undrafted free agent and obviously they have the inside track, Fritz.

I expect you have to pass through the draft before being an UDFA...otherwise every college player out there is fair game right now!

If Seattle took the guy, it would clearly indicate that their home-town advantage is due to more than just a loud crowd.

I will if Red will. I know how much he just hates all that political religious stuff to infect his threads.

(if someone is going to make broad claims connecting crazy people and directions from god, I feel it's totally appropriate to make a counter argument)

my statement was religious not political

you're the one trying to make it political, like usual

and if i'm not mistaken, this thread has something to do with religion, not politics

actually, your comment was about crazy people and god. There was no religion in there, only implied. I made an appropriate counter argument as to why someone like you might think this was a common connection. Many sane believers in god feel that god gives them direction. The popular media (which is undeniably largely secular and largely left) likes to conflate direction for god and insanity. That's not political either, except the use of 'left' Of course, I would never have written anything had you not made a highly polarizing statement.

we argue just to keep threads going. And that's counterintuitive, because The Dude really is an easygoing guy...

Muema showed back up Friday morning at the Florida facility where he was training, still wearing his NFL-issued gear from the Combine.

He also said he believed in something called Lord Reyal, who claims to be the second coming of Christ.
