Well, it looks like Revis got was he was reputed to want after all. You have to think there was a wink and a nudge agreement between him and the team. He wouldn't let his contract be re-negotiated, thereby scaring off the Raiders and the Browns, then he went strait to the Pats when released.

He saved them $4m in cap and a draft pick, and pft seemed to know the number would be $12m even before the announcement, not sure how:???:

Also have to wonder if the Bucs were bidding against themselves the year before. They were willing to give up a 1st rounder AND pay $16m, and apparently no other team would even give them a mid-round pick.
