Agent @longsnapcom says #Packers have re-signed client and FB John Kuhn to a 1-year deal that is worth just over $1M. #Kuhhhhnnnnnnnn

Well, maybe he can backup at safety too.

Where else would he go? Glad to have him back, he is still our best pass blocking back. Just hope they stop running so many dive plays with him especially now that we have a power back in Lacy.

Can you imagine typing out that hashtag? "Did I put enough h's in? Are there too many n's? How will they know I mean the same thing as my other hashtags?" #boredpeopleproblems

This is a good signing.
He's back for another year, which buys time for Franklin or whomever to figure out pass pro. Price is reasonable too -- they were paying him something like $3M last year, which is crazy in present day NFL. I wonder what his first conversation with Peppers will be like.

Agree they should not be handing him the ball. They have enough quality depth at RB now, and that dive play is less effective than U-71 after it made the rounds on film.

Kuhn and Peppers will have something to talk about.

The other thing I like about the picture is, in the upper left corner, Chris Conte is a split second away from his "oh shit" moment.

Also EDS getting beat pretty thoroughly.

If this photo was taken a few seconds later it would show Nelson getting hammered by the defender that the refs missed completely. I know I'd be royally pissed later if Kuhn doesn't make that block or Conte doesn't let Cobb go. After seeing what Max pointed out about EDS I'm not sorry he's in Tampa now either.

Everyone who signs just above the vet minimum says that.

But, but, but, he's a top 10 center in the league and we'll miss him terribly.

He is White so the signing must be right.

As long as TT doesn't sign any lazy Mexicans, it's all good.

You know it.

Based on that one pic, maybe we should move Kuhn to center.

I'll give EDS a break here, it was seven rushing six. Slide right protection (which Kuhn said afterwards was a mistake because it left the unblocked guy furtherest away from FB help) worked in one respect. The Bears ended up overloading EDS and Lang (3 on 2). 98 squirted through however someone was going to come free there once Kuhn identified Peppers as the biggest risk. It was enough of a traffic jam that it wasn't an immediate threat.

Read the article, and one sentence really jumped out at me:

A team that didn’t win a game in November ended up wearing the NFC North crown.

It's has even more impact when you realize they had 5 games in November, not just 4.
Who would have thought at the time that the tie they had in November would be the key to their season?

Thanks for the article link. I had forgotten about Jordy getting mugged until seeing the stills -- I remember yelling at the TV, knowing the refs were gonna alligator arm the flags in their pockets until I saw Rodgers throw to Cobb. Then I started a different kind of yelling.

Pretty interesting to hear that Kuhn made a protection call and Bahktiari couldn't hear it. It sounded like Rodgers didn't even hear him, so it must have been loud. Gives you a different perspective sometimes when a pass rusher breaks loose or the pass pro is poor that maybe it's noise and not a crappy OL that causes the problem.
