The breakup of the Patriots continues apace. Expect Tom Brady in a Vikings or Cowboys uniform in less than 2 years.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/10/05/report-brady-uncomfortable-with-changes-to-patriots-personnel-and-coaching-staff/

Per Mortensen, Brady is “uncomfortable” with some of the changes to personnel and the coaching staff and that he has seen his level of input into the offense — things like game planning, pre-snap adjustments and personnel packages — drop of late. There’s no question that the Patriots have failed to find receivers talented enough to help Brady over the last couple of years and their offensive line, which saw guard Logan Mankins depart in a trade just before the start of the season, has been a mess this year, the first without the now-retired Dante Scarnecchia coaching the group. The shortcomings in those two groups come after the Pats used a second-round pick to take a backup quarterback a few years after doing the same with a third-round selection.

Greg Olsen must be one happy dude with his day vs. his old team. He torched them today.

Not saying Prater is the 2nd coming, but he's a very good kicker, in or out of altitude. If he doesn't sign with Detroit, wow.... the Lions are in big trouble. Got to credit the Bills though. They hung tough and kept the Lions down enough to sneak out a great road win.

Detroitnews.com said Megatron re-aggrevated a right ankle injury, but nothing more was said on severity. Bush hurt his ankle and they were already were without Riddick and Bell due to injury. Stafford got sacked 6 times today. To add insult to injury the Bills linebackers carried defensive coach (and former Lions HC) Jim Schwartz on their shoulders when they won the game.

You're talking to a former DB here who's been screaming for OPI since Micheal Irving was pushing off everything in sight. If a DB threw a WR to the ground while the ball was in the air, wouldn't matter if it was on the other side of the field the flag would fly.

I watched a certain NFC championship game in the 70's in which with almost no time the receiver SHOVED DOWN THE DB and all alone with the dispatched DB on the ground scored to send his team to the Super Bowl instead of the team that likely would have won had the OBVIOUS and BLATANT foul been called......
