Why not?
Arm strength: Rodgers
Touch short/intermediate throws: Even
Touch deep ball: Rodgers
Scrambling ability: Rodgers
Athletic ability: Rodgers
Quick release: Rodgers
Leadership: Close but…. Nobody is better at this than Brady.
Processing speed: even
Presnap: Even
Hardware: Brady

Overall: What separates Rodgers from Brady is the damage he can do with his legs, elusiveness and touch on deep ball. Rodgers is better and younger but really, this is close and is like choosing between Ginger and Mary Ann:)

I would give Brady the edge short. Their entire offense can revolve around those passes at times.

I give Brady an edge on all of the last 4 categories you listed. Overall, right now, I take Aaron though.

If I had to win 1 game, I would take Brady. He usually wins matchups against elite QB's (See Manning). His playoff record is 18-8. Over the course of the season I would take Rodgers. His athleticism makes him more consistent over the course of a season.

Rodgers can do everything Brady can do...plus scramble. Gimme Rodgers

This is a huge game.

Brady has too much experience winning 'HUGE GAMES'.

I so much hope that the Packers will escape this game with a win.

This has to be a total team win.

This game will tell us a lot about the current edition of the Green Bay Packers.

This is one of those games. We can talk about, "it's ok to lose" and all that, but if we want to be a champion, if we want to start believing we're champions, this game matters. This is a tone setting game. I want this win as bad as one can want a regular season win!

Brady* has lost a lot of huge games also. They got owned in the AFCC game last year, and it wasn't even close. He went through a stretch where the Ravens and Steelers just punished him in their not-so-far-away slobberknocker days. They were 14-2 in 2010 and lost to the Jets in the playoffs. Rex Ryan's D got after him that day and held him to 21 points.

He's subject to the same problem Rodgers is... his team's best defense for the last 10 years has been the offense.

The Pats are on a run of beating good teams right now (usually at home, not including Indy) and the Packers have struggled with the NFC West so Brady looks better in big games, I suppose.

C'mon JH! If they lose this qualify for the playoffs and win the whole thing, this game is forgotten.

When Bill Belichick was asked how Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers compared?

His response:

" They both wear number 12. "

If the Packers lose this game:

Then it's possible we might put the words Super Bowl run in 2010 and 2014 and 'comparible' in the conversation.

Today... it's all for the Green Bay Packers to win it all.

Winning today means the NFC favourite will be Green Bay come early next week. Lose today and certain hope of the #1 or #2 Seed is all but gone. Any conversation and that and Green Bay next week is off.

Brady has had a wonderful career but if I had to choose one over the other right now I'd take Rodgers without hesitation. Right now AR is the better QB.
