Ryan Wood chat: Is Peppers running out of gas?
Comment woodbuck27:
I posted this question...
" I recorded the game and was surprized to see what appeared to be 'a sad Julius Peppers' near the end of the Atlanta @ Green Bay game on MNF. He seemed not attached to his teammates. Just sitting there in the background. I asked myself was I seeing too much or what did this observation mean? "

I'd like to point out the moles, by digging an arrow, are trying to tell you something about the mountain/hill.
EDITED: Can you have oxygen deprivation at the seventh seating level at the Stadium?

Saving up for the playoffs.
Also double-teamed by the Patriots.

All moles lead to the dome, or sumpin' like that.

It's obvious, isn't it?
Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Don't kid yourself. The moles are obsessed about the mountain.

Maybe that honey "took good care" of him right before the game and he had nothing left to give!

Nah.
It ain't the kill that wears you out, it's all the miles you walk hunting it.

His whole career Peppers has had a reputation of being a really talented guy who occasionally takes plays or even a game off. Maybe he had one of those nights.

We'll forget about it when he grabs a pick 6 from Russel Wilson in the playoffs.

^^^ this
Last season it's exactly what happened in Chicago. Sorry to throw cold water on it, but by the end of the season, he was done.
The silver lining lays in the hope he has limited snaps from here on in.

Against the Patriots, Peppers had two tipped passes and a pressure. One week later he has hit the wall?

Stat wise nothing looks alarming.
He had 3 Tackles in the Atlanta @ Green Bay game.
His uni looked really clean and he didn't look happy near the end of the game.
I'm guessing he wasn't happy with something. Maybe it's just his way (personality)?

There was a game or two early in the season that he was pretty quiet on the stat sheet and everyone figured he might be done.

I suspect others on defense looked tired and not very happy at the end of the Atlanta game. They played very poorly, and realized they had been in danger of throwing away the game. It is difficult to be excited about a win you nearly sabotaged.

Yes he's a significant Pro NFL player with pride.
Maybe? it's that simple. He was disgusted with the poor execution of the Packers 'D' on that night.

Julius Peppers: Time to step on the gas
Packers linebacker Julius Peppers was available to the media on Thursday, Dec. 11.
RE: The Buffalo Bills Game:
" This is the biggest game of the season. "
This is one of those times when a leader such as I (as one of if not the oldest member of the team) needs to step up and something needs to be said.
This is one of those weeks. We need to raise the focus ...we've got to raise the sense of urgency because a ... now is the time when he need to be stepping on the gas not letting off of it. Julius Peppers
Comment woodbuck27:
Julius Peppers is just fine. He's focused on his sense of duty as a team leader for all that's needed to ensure a Packer victory in Buffalo this week.
He speaks of the Buffalo venue and great fan base and of their experienced Vet QB Kyle Orton and his style of play. . . .etc. etc.
GO PACK GO !

Let's send Julius Peppers a chorizo burrito, three carnitas tacos with extra pinto beans, and a quart of brussel sprouts. Problem solved.

Although reluctantly ..... I'll respond to this post thus:
That dietary supplement might lite a "FIRE" under Peppers.
