Jadeveon Clowney has been placed on IR, and has had microfracture surgery. Recovery from that is *not* a sure thing, it is entirely possible his career could effectively be over.

One question I have, where did this come from? Is this resulting from the injury he had in TC, or was it pre-existing? If so, is it something the Texans should've been able to find out before drafting him?

They did. He hurt that knee his last year in college. Where for all his trouble he wasn't paid and had his effort questioned while dealing with a knee injury.
