Hell of a play by our defense. These guys aren't getting enough credit. No more yelling about the offense...let's talk about how GOOD this defense looks right now.

Like 2012 when we played Vikings twice in a row. We had to face Joe Webb instead of Ponder.

Yep. I think our offense just needs an off week to get some rest. Lots of nagging injuried over there.

Lions are 0'fer in Wisconsin since 1991. 0-20 at Lambeau. Hope the Pack keeps Detroit's record perfect.

Detroit 20, Chicago 14

Road victories are always good.

For those lamenting the quality of today's win, the Patriots beat the Jets only 17-16. It's tough winning on the road this time of year, even against bad teams. Ask the Eagles.

Edit: Harvey beat me to it.

Sure.... if you bet that the Packers would cover [-11.5].

You win a Free Bag of microwave popcorn.

The score was 20-3 Packers. They covered the point spread.

Also Winners .... those who bet the under.

Linsley just bench pressed someone for another hold. He is TOO strong.

Why are officials calling pancake blocks holds?

The defense is playing a real lightweight...but they look good today.

Its amazing how good a defense can look when they tackle properly.

Pugger
12-22-2014, 12:26 AM
McClown has normally done well against Packers, he looks like crap...

We beat the hell out of him today too.

Sitton is having a tough time with that Tackle and its not McCoy.

Sitton hasn't been 100% in weeks.

Pugger

This is a worthless comment. Who do you think developed Rodgers, and rescued Favre's sinking career? Dumb.

Exactly. Mac ain't perfect but he's a hell of a lot better than most.

Pugger
12-22-2014, 12:38 AM
Beating a shitty tampa team isn't going to do shit. So far it's been a struggle when in reality it should be a blow out vs these guys.

It wasn't a blowout on the score board but at any time after our first score did you think we'd lose this game? The difference between time of possession and yards was laughable. We did just enough to get a win on the road and nobody as far as I heard got seriously hurt. NE beat a shitty Jets team by one stinkin' point. Brady and company looked like crap but nobody is talking about it because NE won and that's all that's important, not how they won.

Pugger
12-22-2014, 12:39 AM
If all the good teams like Seattle, SF, and NE can win the Superbowl every year, why can't Stubby?

When was the last time SF and NE won a SB?

Pugger
12-22-2014, 12:43 AM
I don't like going for it there. Make it a 2 score game

I didn't care for that either. Evidently Mac felt his defense could stop a shitty TB offense and we did. But you always take the points on the road.

Pugger

Jordy looks tired.

Maybe he was sick too?

Pugger

Running game with Lacy is working, why is stubby getting "cute" with Cobb?

I think they have to give Lacy a rest a times because of his asthma.

Pugger
12-22-2014, 12:48 AM
Announcer just said "if they win their in"? They're just speaking in ignorance, right? Is the Philly loss enough to put them in?

No, we had to win OR Dallas had to win for us to get in.

Pugger
12-22-2014, 12:51 AM
How does that keep happening? Pass rusher and o lineman in his lap and he hefts a moon shot for a completion!

That WR Evans is the real deal. If they get a decent QB he'll be a beast.

Pugger

Growing optimism over defense > concern over play of offense in back to back weeks

We have to remember what kind of offenses we played these past 2 weeks. However, the hustle and tackling we witnessed today is encouraging.

Pugger

True. Too bad it didn't end in a tie...

Why are officials calling pancake blocks holds?

If you looked at cutup films of all takedowns, most are holds and the Refs are probably instructed (or just learn by watching film after) to call it if they see it.

The Packers have to keep submitting tape on Corey to show the League that its a perfectly legitimate block.

And he has to stop doing it (he talked about it earlier this season) until they cotton on.

Lacy's having a damn good year catching the ball and running with it too.

He has over 1500 all-purpose yards and 13 touchdowns so far. With Detroit's great running defense, he could be a weapon in the passing game out of the backfield this week as well.

There's only three players with more TD's:

Marshawn Lynch with 16 TDs and Dez Bryant and Jamaal Charles both with 14 TDs.
