Joe Cocker may have been Dylan's best interpreter. Nobody sang The Bard's songs with more soul than Cocker.

I think Joe Cocker is a little under-appreciated. His greatest work was in early years. He remained a good singer throughout career. But I think 1969 at woodstock, then the "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" tour/album a few years later said it all. If he had the good form to die in early 70s, he'd be an icon like Janis & Jimi. The old showbiz proverb is true, "Always leave with them wanting more."

He topped the Beatles versions

A lot of people liked him, but I never cared for his voice. But I liked Louis Armstrong so what do I know.

This one has two interpretations. Maybe grumpy cat is theologically confused.
