Two years ago in November, my daughter was born. We managed to get her decked out in a Packers onesie for the playoff game versus the niners...and lost.

We tried it again last year, putting her in a Green Bay cheerleader's dress...and lost.

This year, we have a mini Rodgers jersey for her. The year to break the streak or not to jinx it?

Years later when looking at (now) old photos...Wow, Mom and Dad! You actually put me in a stinkin' Cowboys outfit just to ensure that the Packers would win a playoff game? And then the next week I'm wearing a Russell Wilson jersey?

Don't let a setback intimidate you. Did we stop when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? No! Go with the jersey.

Hey, God asked Abraham to kill his son. This is only a little worse.

But it's necessary.

No green and gold on that child. Period.

I say go bold, go with the jersey.

This is a new team in a new era.

No. I say go with the Cowboys jersey's. Though I am attending this game, and every game I've ever attended without my father, we've won. So, my good luck might outweigh your bad luck.

Go with the jersey and burn the previously worn onesie and cheerleader outfit

We went with the jersey to start the game and wore it up until the score was 14-7. Then the jersey came off when she had to be changed...and the Packers made a defensive stop or two and scored the field goal heading into halftime. I was thinking "okay, the jersey is staying off".

But, we put it back on at halftime, and the Packers came out with a remarkable second half. I'm thinking that was the right decision.

Going with it again next week.

Yesterday I wore my Rodgers jersey for the first time since superbowl XLV. I didn't stop wearing it on purpose or anything, but I didn't wear it week 1 in 2011 so I just stopped wearing it because we kept winning.

No idea if how jersey magic works. Not sure if it expires, if its been slowly building strength in my closet, or if its more of a so many bullets in the gun thing. The reason I brought her out of retirement wasn't for it's magic it was because I watched the game with a Cowboy fan. I knew that if I wore my Rodgers jersey I could trick him into wearing his Romo jersey which he hadn't worn all year. Everyone knows they curse Romo jerseys at the factory.

I got an Eddie Lacy jersey for my anniversary last summer. I wore it the first three weeks of the season and then put it in the closet for a while. I brought it out after the bye and it has been working better!

I am not sure about the defense, but I am pretty sure that jersey healed Rodgers' calf in the second half.
