Are you happy with the season, or do you want heads to roll? How about if the defense shits the bed again? For me I want to see a win or nothing, unless of course Rodgers gets hurt badly. If that happens they may as well lose and get it over with.

The Pack are winning it all this year, so your point is moot except in a purely hypothetical sense.

Heck Yeah! Week 1 was a mirage, and Dallas doesn't stand a chance!

If the defense has another 579-type day, you could see changes on the defensive coaching staff. I don't see it though. Defense has pretty solid, other than the 2nd half versus Atlanta since Clay moved inside. Packers win this one if they don't lose the turnover battle.

Dom has had 2 weeks to brew up a disaster - then again there is always the chance that he will do his job.

Which boils down to the fact that he can't be trusted. Ever.

Even if he pukes up another 579 and we get bounced, TT, MM, and the Homers will blame it on Rodgers' calf and there won't be any changes.

Let's hope we win the SB, and someone convinces Dom to go out on top... best of both worlds - win a SB and get rid of dunderdummy!!!!

So, uh, you're saying I get cake and I get to eat it too?

As a sophisticated person, I am a huge fan of Britpop (see Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Keane, The Verve and Lily Allen), but if the Packers lose on Sunday, I would like to listen to Metallica's "Fade to Black."

From a project management standpoint, I understand the utility of doing a pre-mortem--imagining the project bombs and coming up with reasons why it did so. There are very practical benefits to such an exercise.

But from the standpoint of sports fan that has no control whatsoever over the product, I don't understand it at all. If this weekend goes badly, and I don't expect it to, then I'll gladly, sadly spend time hashing over the reasons why that happened.

Until then, this team* looks like it has a real shot at a ring and I'm going to enjoy the ride.

*Rodgers is the end-all-be-all on this team, and if he's done, they're done. but does he need to scramble around and do everything, or does he just need to lead a competent offense that is capable of controlling the game and trusting other guys to do their jobs according to the constantly evolving game-within-game plan?

Can't you just go to Classic Brit Pop:

Biff Bang Pow, Teenage Fanclub, Jesus and Mary Chain, Primal Scream, House of Love, The Boo Radleys, Super Furry Animals and Oasis?

I would be very disappointed with a 6th home playoff loss in 13 years. The manner of defeat would play a big part in my reaction.

I'm hard but fair. If Packers lose in a tough dogfight, I will be merciful. If we see a display like the second half of Atlanta game, my justice will be swift and terrible.

Yeah, delete this.

Rut, when you go to the casino and play craps, never bet the pass line. It brings the table down.

As a worst case scenario isn't this a fact?

If this is the case I'd think there might be a tad more tension in 2015.

I do think that the Packers win this game and it won't be pretty.

Just a win ! Give us fans a 'W'.

Jesus people in here turned on McCarthy? I understand the rest but McCarthy is far removed from the consequences of a single game. What are the odds of finding someone better than McCarthy? Has the mob forgotten there isn't a infinite supply of elite head coaches?

We won today because of Mike McCarthy. His flag on the Dez Bryant 'no catch'.

We'll allow him to be the HC next season.

This. And they won today.

Although they've adjusted more for Rodgers in injury, the adjustments on offense for this playoff run started around the 2nd Vikings game. Green Bay stopped playing a frontrun-blowout all of the time. Lacy has helped but Green Bay has gotten a lot more comfortable in playing closer, ball-control games.

Or maybe they were due because a run of shitty luck in these kinds of games early on.

Repped. No one complains about play calls on scoring drives.
