Now you might be thinking, "What's wrong with him? Has he been hanging around Andrew Quarless too much?" After all, Quarless has proclaimed himself to be among the most talented TEs in the league, and Elliot has some talented LBs ahead of him just on the Packers.

But, Elliot's goal is a reasonable one. He wants to make the Pro Bowl as a Special Teams specialist. An admirable, and reasonable goal.

I been looking at this for 3 days and not one reply? Great goal for a young guy. I liked him a lot more than I like Hubbard. He is explosive. Sort of the same page I have been on with Richardson. Both guys who have embraced the opportunity GB gives young guys to learn and contribute. Guys who might have washed out of the league with a lot of teams, but likely will hang around and contribute for 10 years in the NFL and maybe even be marginal starters.

I may be WAY ahead of myself, but Elliot reminds me a bit of James Harrison. I could see him starting for us one day. Harrison needed practice squad time and eventually became DPOY. By embracing a ST role, Elliot gets to be on a roster instead of a practice squad. GO J RONE!!

He's a playa, and the ladies love him. In person, he looks lean and fast, with not much anchor. I see pass-rich specialist, unless he has some coverage chops.

A good goal for a young player. It would be great to get some leadership from the younger players on ST too with Bush gone.

At least you know the guy's invested in the team and taking things seriously and not just hoping to hang on and collect a paycheck.
