Anyone else watching this game? He's missed 2 in OT. 33 and 32 yards. Ridiculous.

LMAO!!!
Have a buddy of mine who's a 'Boys fan. When I kidded him about TO and Vandy, he essentially wanted both of them run out of town on the first bus.

Gotta be impressed. It's still the pre-season, and already Vandy is in playoff form.

He's HURT! That's the excuse! HA HA HA HA. Was he hurt last year in the playoffs? He's losing it! Parcels is not going to have any sympathy.

Billy P was just on NFL Network and he stated that Vander-drunk was NOT injured. He kicked all week and was FINE! Whoops, there goes your theory.

Billy P says shit all the time, he just returned from an injury and the color guy on the telecast said he was limping after the XP...haven't check the tivo on that yet, if you were paying attention, you'd have also seen him pull up after that second miss. That I saw clearly.
So because Billy P says it's true you believe every word? This dude plays more mind games than anyone but you instantly fall for it?

I've never seen a kicker get injured so often. He usually gets injured right after he misses important FG attempts.

From this article--interesting stuff
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/cowboys/2006-08-29-vanderjagt_x.htm?POE=SPOISVA
But something beyond consistent kicks has developed this summer. Vanderjagt is nursing sore groin and quadriceps muscles  the other big injury in Dallas' camp  and has missed two preseason games. After working in pregame warm-ups and then scratching himself for game action the past two weeks, it's uncertain if he will kick in Thursday night's preseason finale against the Minnesota Vikings.
It leaves Parcells in a tight spot as he ponders moves for the 53-man roster.
Just as he says about Terrell Owens, trying to rebound from a hamstring injury, Parcells says of Vanderjagt, "I've got to see something."
Never mind that Vanderjagt, owner of the NFL record for consecutive field goals (42), has made 217 of 248 career attempts. After meeting with the kicker for a heart-to-heart talk last weekend, Parcells hinted Monday that Vanderjagt's status is murky.
"I'm going to do what is best for the Cowboys," he grumbled. "What opinion anybody else has is irrelevant, because they don't have the facts I have."
A psychological ploy? Maybe, maybe not.
Parcells began camp hoping that in addition to field goals, Vanderjagt would handle kickoffs  which he hasn't done since 2003. But kickoff duty might contribute to the injury and is weighed against using an extra roster spot on a specialist. Punter Mat McBriar doesn't kick off; the other kicker left, Shaun Suisham, was among three who kicked last season.

wow - there's actually a possibility he could get cut? That would be something.

Bill Parcells should have gone for the two point conversion to avoid OT. Billy is a great HC but his semi-psycho nature is not my cup of grug.

I hope he doesn't. I live near Indy and get really sick of arguing about how good Vandy is with colts fans. Kicking in a dome would make lots of kickers perform better. I think he definitely benefits from that, making him seem better than he is.

Rastak,
Why are we having an arguement about a kicker that is neither a Packer or a Viking. To tell you the truth, I could care less. You win.

Hey, he might get cut and he could end up being your kicker! It's possible.....
Or as Woodbuck might say....
OUR kicker....LOL....
