Hey, the Romper Room is a great place to discuss tennis! (Okay, I'll stop.) It still seems strange to me to see Agassi with no hair and wearing tennis whites. The first year I watched him at the U.S. Open, he had the long hair and was wearing denim shorts. When he would leave the court after the match, he would throw an extra pair into the crowd, which the women would viciously fight for.

AGASSI A JOY TO WATCH

REMINDS ME OF MY FAVORITE TENNIS PLAYER JIMMY CONNERS MAKING HIS LAST HARRAH.

I was a big Connors fan. Wasn't it Agassi who eliminated Connors at his last U.S. Open?

This match is insane.

This match is over (and to some I suppose "hopefully" this thread...)

Agassi wins 7-5 in the fifth.

Incredible match. They both left their guts out there.

I remember the match that made me like Jimmy Conners; keep in mind I WAS cut throat competitive at the time.

He was playing Borg; Borg hit a baseline shot that was called out. But it hit the line and left a mark. Borg asked the umpire to go check it.

Conners walks over and rubs the mark out with his shoe; the frickin funniest thing I've ever witnessed. At that point I knew he was my guy.
