fuckup of epic proportions

yeah it would be nice to have his talent on the team, but would it really be a good idea to bring him to the land of golden nectar of the gods?

49ers have lost some great players unexpectedly early from that defense in just a few years. Smith was an awesome talent.

Obviously we don't care about "Packer People" so sign him for vet minimum this year, he will be suspended, then incentive laden contract.

49ers general manager Trent Baalke met with the player after he left jail, and after Smith refused to take responsibility for being arrested, the team decided to release him, a team source told ESPN's Jim Trotter.

Um, no.

Only 25 years old. I drove drunk sometimes when I was 19 or 20. But that was back in the day when WI cops would escort you home with a stern warning. Plus I had excuse of being challenged - exceptionally dumb.

Three DUIs in this day and age is pretty severe misbehavior. He'll be back in the league, of course, perhaps in a year.

Too bad his head is so worthless... from the neck down, he was HoF material.
