There is no more point in playing McCown now. Let him finish season, get some reps and coaching and see what you have. Literally nothing is gained by starting the other guy.

I have yet to see him play professionally, other than the replay of a play here and there. In the course of a game, has he shown potential, or just isolated success in plays here and there?

In this game, it was some sustained success in the first half. Second half the Bengals adjusted, the Browns couldn't run and the Browns D collapsed. And he was spottier in the 2nd half.

But he avoided turnovers, make some good reads and escaped the pocket in an orderly and well-timed fashion.

A longer view from last year is that he is reading defenses now, going through a progression and shown a willingness to stay in the pocket. Hasn't be uber-productive yet though.

Completely agree.

I still think the kid has a chance. The tools are there. It all depends on his ability to master the mental side of the game. I also worry about him holding up physically.

Indy up 10-0 over Denver at home. Not saying the game is over, but we didn't even give Denver a game. We suck.

brandon merryweather just speared his own lineman in the head and knocked him out of the game

can he get fined/suspended for that?

Denver brings a blitz. As if expecting it, Indy throws a perfect screen for a huge gain. Sad to see that our gameplanning is just so bad.

Now 17-0 Indy up over Denver. So depressing. They are throwing fast and quick.

Manning 9/19 80 yards and a pick. It's a lot harder at this age when you aren't playing the Packers, eh Manning?

At home is a huge issue for pass protection.

God... Pierre-Paul's hand is frightening... Missing his entire index finger, half his thumb, and half his middle finger...

Guess he's a lefty now.

What kind of fireworks are we even talking about? Certainly not the typical bottle rockets and fire crackers you can buy at the store. And what are they doing? Holding them as they go off?

And Manning probably needs 2 weeks off between starts to be sharp.

My best guess is he was holding a roman candle in a statue of liberty pose and when it went off the rest is history.

Absolutely. Isn't the Rams' DC that Williams creep who instigated the bounty scandal in New Orleans? What in the hell is that guy doing in the league. They should ban his arse.

Did you hear Fisher? He said "He's not the first QB to be hurt sliding".

What a fuckhead.
