Manning got the career TD record last year.
He is now tied with Favre for career wins by a starting QB, at 186.
He needs just 3 yards to surpass Favre's record of 71,838 passing yards.
He needs 186 completions to take Favre's record of 6,300 completions. (He has 188 in 8 games this year.)

and, with the way he played earlier this year, he seems to want the interception record, too!

All in all, quite an accomplishment for Manning. So far he has played in 264 games, compared to Favre's 302 games.

Manning, too. Depending on how long each plays, Manning's records could soon fall to Brady or Brees. With the way the NFL is going 5,000 yard/50TD seasons will become commonplace, and some kid in high school right now will end his NFL career with 1,000 TDs and 100,000 yards. The young fans of that time will wonder what all the fuss was about over the records of Favre, Manning, etc.

If Jack Lambert were dead, he'd be rolling in his grave.

And Lester Hayes would be stuck to him

Yes, in the future a lot of these bulk stats will seem commonplace because QBs will have longer careers than they one did.
