Sorry the picture is so big, but I'm too lazy to resize it. Anyway, he was about 300lb live, and scored right at 140 after deductions. 30-06 disconnected his heart, and he made it about 40-50 feet. Luckily he stayed right on the ATV trail, and even then dragging him out was a chore, not to mention getting him in the back of the truck. Freezer full.

Jay Zeus. Looks at the size of the brow tines. He's got a fourth point on the left antler, yes?

Nice work, Skin.

Thanks. Yeah, his left got that extra poker. He also has a very lush head of hair.

He walked in about 20 yards behind me the second morning of rifle season, right after I had a smoke.

Are you hunting your own plot?

We just picked up another adjoining 40 acres this summer, bringing our total to 80, and that's where I was at. My wife got a 10 pointer from the same stand with a crossbow a few weeks back.

This was hers a couple nights before she killed it.

80 acres makes you pretty much apocalypse-proof.

Whitetail hunting season is days away! We have some average bucks about and an injured doe that's top priority. Last year my wife killed a 169 that made the owner of the game farm angry enough that he doesn't talk to us anymore. So sad.

Went on a fishing trip and bear hunt to Ontario in June. It was nice. Brought back 50 pounds of fish and I totally killed a baby bear. It's tender.

Next trip is to New Zealand in March or April for red stag, mountain goats, deep sea fishing and whatever else. Does anyone know if you can shoot those kiwi birds?
