The Packers are coming off two straight wins against less than stellar competition. But as I like to say, "A win is a win and you can't control who the NFL scheduled you to play next."

If this was in GB or a short trip in the Midwest I would predict a 2+ TD victory for the Pack. Because we have to travel to Oakland I think it will be more of a 10 point game.

The Packer D will continue with its solid play and the O will benefit from another week of MM running the show. Packers win 31-21.

Predicted 31-21 not bad.

D played well in the second half. Same with the O.

D seemed to get the run defense fixed.

they should run ads in the corner of the screen between plays and cut out other the TV timeouts

its not like these asshole announcers have anything decent to say between plays

in reality, we just spent about 3 hours watching guys in tight pants stand around

Yea, for sure.....I know they research the teams before they broadcast the game but I have a feeling that the research is reading the local paper a day before.

I know some on here will denigrate this win. This was a road win against a team that beat Denver last week. I get that this Packer team isn't great and probably won't be in the Super Bowl this year. But this was a good, tough win.

Cooper is something we don't see this season in GB, a good, fast WR.

The 4th overall pick better be good.

Yes, if you read the message boards or listen to call in shows you'd think we lost by 3 scores yesterday.

Not with some folks. If we don't play a perfect game and blow teams out we stink. In the end NOBODY is gonna care what the final score was or how you got there as long as you get the W. Winning on the road is damn difficult.

I think you might be wrong. One of the draft reports from 2014 listed a score of 32. Another said "above 30". For NFL draft prospects, that score is in the stratosphere.

Even the 23 is much higher than many NFL players. Scores in the "teens" are quite common.

Even if Janis is eligible for MENSA, that doesn't make him smart or dependable on the field. Other people depending on you to be where you are supposed to be WHEN you are supposed to be there does not require a high level of intelligence.

It takes a fair amount of practice, technique and by the numbers adherence to the plan to make it work. You do need to recognize what the Defense is doing to you, and that mainly requires experience. Once you have Nelson or Cobb levels of trust, then you can help the QB improvise and make suggestions.

Agreed, there have been a lot of smart people who failed in the NFL. I only countered because someone specifically referred to his Wonderlic score. He isn't a dummy, but still might not be an NFL WR. However, it is looking like he can have a career as a ST specialist, if nothing else; at least for a while.

Years ago I had an article that was a collaboration between some scholarly types and coaches. One of the interesting discussions was on QBs and intelligence. All agreed they needed to be smart to learn and carryout the plan; but they also agreed that many of the very smartest ones failed because they saw too many options/alternatives in situations, and would not accept the "if this, then that" approach that works best in a team game.

typical 2015 Packers game...offense only shows up for half the game, d is generally good with the momentary hiccup, too many penalties. Rodgers attitude after the game is alarming. he and mm need to get their heads right with each other. jones was good, janis good on kick-offs (keep him away from the o), o-line struggled in running situations, lacy danced around too much.
